Believe it or not I don't have the usual passionate hatred of Collingwood. I find them as equally worthless as the other 16 teams no worse or better.
Just trying to justify the filth tag

Its the worst kept secret that Freemans family are from the east and they have some afiliation to the saints Yes his father believes his son was not rehabilatated the way he should have been. They took advantage of the above, he got offered a way better deal at the saints and they took it good luck to the kid.
But to openly say Collingwood tried to criple him and destroy his career is a joke in its self. Collingwood i would think becouse of there resourses would spend more money in there medical departnent then the saints

Was a thing from the 60's I believe, where in effect it was support Collingwood, support Essendon or be relegated to one of the also rans aka other mob, and out of those two, Wollingwood was viewed as the more popular, they were the pinnacle, the tall poppy that people flocked to, looking down at everyone else from their high perches. So as you do in such situations, where you are in the minority, and the majority are sneering at your choices, being insulting to your chosen passion or interest, you grow to dislike them, to not want to engage with them, to hate them as a group, they were filth, because as it is, it is an endearing but insulting moniker to a sporting club during a time where, well people didn't live in pristine environments with earth hour and climate / environmental focus.

This goes through generations and you have Collingwood aka the flith.

Also, the Aints is a lazy effort, I take no notice of people stating it because hey, you can drop the letter S, gold star for you, I'll give a shit when you put a little thought into your attempted insult/banter. It's not an endearing respect to current/previous status, it's you being unimaginative and or lazy/stupid. /shrug

The Aints comes from a name used Ed Kuepper for his band after he had left The Saints so it's not very original.
