What got you into Man City? Surely nobody in Australia had heard of them before Sheikh Mansoor bought them, much like Chelsea pre-Abramovic.

It's not that they have guns that is the issue, it's the type that they have access to. No one is querying a simple handgun, they are largely querying why an everyday individual needs and Ak47 or M16 which are designed to simply wound or kill as many people in the shortest time possible.

I mean, I grew up on farm, used a twin gauge, used a rifle purely for hunting rabbits, ducks, foxes and other "vermin" to livelihoods or things which you can shoot and eat, just as I've used an axe and made a chickens day very nasty. Why the shit does joe blow in suburbia need guns to feel safe? That's what cops are for, that is what law is for, that is what locks are for, you don't need a gun to feel safe, you simply need your wits about you.

Agreed the high powered weapons shouldn't be available in America.
In Australia , if that's what the cops are for, they are failing.

Grandfather actually (apparently anyway, he died before I was born).

There are lots of city fans in oz for some reason. I was stupid enough to get Newcastle handed to me while they were almost good for a minute in the 90s. shearer and Cole were playing there and were pretty fun to watch in those days. Viduka played for a while there too and then it all started to go backwards.

I kept thinking it was a joke and trying to find the hook. I find CF a bit combative and not really someone who advocates togetherness or bring people around to her view point so maybe some of her old mans beliefs rubbed off after all.

i share the same opinion mate, which is a shame as i think some of the issues she talks about are very important but she ends up doing it a massive disservice by being a friggin troll

It’s been said by others, but **** it... for me there are two reasons NOT to trade for Jake Stringer.

One has been done to death; we are seen nationwide as a **** up of a club, one prone to scandal and stupidity, board infighting and ego, and the legend of the Moorabbin Disco has followed us for years. We’ve suffered though trade scandal before in the Lovett fiasco as well. We’ve now spent years doing everything possible to correct this view and improve our brand and to potentially give the assembled media vultures such a massive free swing at us to me is completely anathemic to everything we’ve worked toward over the Finnis/Bains era.
