Just listened to Lachy Weller interviewd on trade radio. He has to be gone. Can't see Freo keeping him after listening to him.
So will Gold Coast buckle and give pick 2 ?
Or could we be in the picture offering 7+8 for Gold coast 2 + something ?

Bags are only a prob because they are thrown on the ground???
Can't say I've seen people throwing shopping bags around in parks and roads tbh
Dont see any blowing around melbs when I visit, don't see too many blowing around here either.

I'd say people throw them in the bin or recycle them

Fixing the symptom never works.

They blow into the air and end up in the sea when dumped and are very consumptive of energy and water to make them. They should go back to reusing glass bottles for soft drinks and ban bags. You can buy biodegradable dog bags that actually break down or dig a hole and bury the dog crap. The supermarket bags are biodegradable but the cheap white ones aren't. It's forcing people to be less consumptive which isn't a bad thing.

I've heard it stated by the people banning them, that they're clogging the waterways.
I can't be held responsible for your lack of observation. There are a lot of plastic bags lying around.

If you drive past the Clayton tip there are bags blowing all over the road, I reckon that must cause a fair bit of the pollution.

Can't think of anything that gets re-used/recycled more than the supermarket bags....we re-use them for everything.

I have one in the car all the time for bits and pieces of rubbish....we use them for the same thing when traveling on holidays. Also use them for dirty washing etc when away overnight or on holidays.

I also use them for taking out the recycle stuff to the bin..

a tip: if one is to be thrown away, flatten it out and tie it in a knot, then put it in the bin.....won't fly out of the bin when the truck is tipping bin up to empty in the back of it..

I find the whole thing hypocritical....when they ban all plastic in supermarkets, then I will go along with it.......in the meantime, all it's doing is making customers pay for the bags that the supermarkets once paid for. Cost cutting exercise only, will save them millions.

So is heroin if you can stay with in your limits. I worked with a guy that was stealing from work to gamble, ended up in jail at 25. I don't mind people gambling but it shouldn't be promoted 24/7 to become normalised.

Heroin is illegal the last time I looked. As for adverts well I believe people need to parent their kids instead of banning everything because its all to hard to manage. I have gambled for every year of my daughters life and she has no interest at all in gambling. We told her from early on its a waste of money so unless you had more than you need then try not to gamble.

My 18YO was walking through from the Casino carpark to the Yarra with us.
She went with my wife into the Casino, because she wanted to see what it was like.
It was mid morning and a lot of the gaming tables weren't going.

So she came out shrugging, "just the same boring pokies they have at the pub ".

My first taste of a Casino was Adelaide before it had pokies and when it still had strict dress regulations.
It had real atmosphere.

Use the radar or make the blokes work. Rain never hurts anyone.

Went to the UK last year ( England, Wales, Northern Ireland ).
We remarked upon the people working in the rain. Though, in retrospect, how the hell could they have built anything if they didn't.
Got me stuffed why Australia still has a "tough guy image" , Paul Hogan did a good job with Crocodile Dundee.

The contact page on the Saints site mentions a 'merchandise outlet' at Moorabbin
I believe the social club is still open, so you my be able to get some help there, but at this stage the club store is closed.
I dont think it will be opened until stage 1b is completed (1a is the section currently under construction, being the players and most football department facilities)
