Spoiler Alert:Anyone looking for some laughs go and watch 'What we do in the Shadows' on Netflix, absolute crack-up. By the guys who made Flight of the Conchords. About a group of vampires living together in a flat in suburban New Zealand, can't believe I never heard of it until just recently.
Absolutely hilarious movie, I've probably watched it 3-4 times now.Spoiler Alert:
The Vampires meet some Werewolves.
There’s a confrontation.
One of the Vampires does something and the Werewolves react in a canine fashion.
Laughed.
My.
****.
Off.
Rooney is lucky then that he's no longer in Manchester. Pasty fecker would end up more lobsterisedAnother day of 25 degrees in tropical Manchester. It's only early June, but this is already our best summer in years. I got sunburned in the garden yesterday, for the first time in years.
Lots of us walking around beetroot coloured just now. We aren't accustomed to this. Mad dogs and Englishmen...…Rooney is lucky then that he's no longer in Manchester. Pasty fecker would end up more lobsterised
than Fred the Red.
Indeed! Seems like you have all been Joe Cockered.Lots of us walking around beetroot coloured just now. We aren't accustomed to this. Mad dogs and Englishmen...…

I've seen some sights that would give you nightmares: people who have no right to ever wear shorts in public are strutting around like sunburned peacocks. Bodies which haven't seen sunlight in years are on show to the world. Not the type of physiques you get on Bondi, put it that wayIndeed! Seems like you have all been Joe Cockered.
Must make for a nice change? Shudder to think about how many topless fat dudes must be walking the streets.....![]()

lol.....I can imagine.I've seen some sights that would give you nightmares: people who have no right to ever wear shorts in public are strutting around like sunburned peacocks. Tandoori chicken!.....lol.....You tripper...You should go down to St Kida beach in summer, it’s a gallery of UK males trying their best to get their bodies to resemble tandoori chicken.
Usually shouldn't matter unless the public holiday falls on the pay day then it would be paid a day earlier.Anybody know much about payroll processing?
It's my pay week this week, and we would normally be paid on a Wednesday evening - officially the day is Thursday.
Whenever there is a public holiday in that week (eg Queens Birthday this week on Monday), the pay is always delayed by a day (so officially Friday this week)
Other people who work there have indicated that this practise is shonky, and have said it is illegal. Can't find much online about it.
It's just a bit inconvenient, and from what I understand uncommon.
I am employed by a public hospital if that makes a difference.
No if public holiday is earlier in the week pay is delayed by a day at my employer. No matter if the day lands on pay day or not. Never worked anywhere like it.Usually shouldn't matter unless the public holiday falls on the pay day then it would be paid a day earlier.
Check your award or call your union, it seems very unusual. No if public holiday is earlier in the week pay is delayed by a day at my employer. No matter if the day lands on pay day or not. Never worked anywhere like it.

I can think of no logical reason for this especially in a public hospital.
I don't think so, cartel is saying he will be paid today being Friday as a result of Monday's public holiday.I think you read it wrong, they are NORMALLY paying it a day early. If there is a public holiday the day before pay day, the payroll people can't process it that day. I think its pretty common practice in larger organisations.
The law also cuts plenty of slack if companies have a decent excuse for paying their staff late. ie if the power went off for the day.
