"Australian Rules football is in full swing in Japan amongst the Australians in the occupation forces.
Regular premiership games are played and winners of the RAAF completion for the past two seasons have been the 382 base squadron side.
A report from the secretary of the team Cpl R Winton tells that two seasons are played in a year

The 1946 title games ended in July last and another season has just finished due to the extreme cold.

Captain of the winning team for the double was Flt-Lt JM (Sandy) Sinclair former hawthorn player.
The vice-captain Sgt J E Tysoe was with Geelong"
