Not sure where to put it since I don't have anything other than this link but new 3rd person Star Wars action game by Respawn (mostly original Infinity Ward team headed by Zampella who did CoD and Titanfall). EA have a few Star Wars games in the works now (anyone know anything about Visceral's game?) so hopefully there is at least one that is decent. Still patiently waiting for BioWare to come back to another KotOR which I guess will never happen.

We don’t have many details at the moment other than what Nintendo has said on its social media channels, which is the mini NES Classic Edition will ship on November 11 for $60, and it’ll come with 30 games.

Furthermore, the NES controller can be attached to a wii-mote for use with NES Virtual Console games on the Wii U. And if you own a classic controller or classic controller pro, each of those will work on the NES mini.

The system itself comes packaged with an HDMI cable and a USB cable which powers the console. Additional NES controllers will set you back $10 each.

The full list of games included in the console are:
  • Balloon Fight
  • Bubble Bobble
  • Castlevania
  • Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest
  • Donkey Kong
  • Donkey Kong Jr.
  • Double Dragon II
  • Dr. Mario
  • Excitebike
  • Final Fantasy
  • Galaga
  • Ghosts ‘n’ Goblins
  • Gradius
  • Ice Climber
  • Kid Icarus
  • Kirby’s Adventure
  • Mario Bros.
  • Mega Man 2
  • Metroid
  • Ninja Gaiden
  • Pac-man
  • Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream
  • StarTropics
  • SUPER C
  • Super Mario Bros.
  • Super Mario Bros. 2

These sort of clone systems never really go up in value, but being an actual Nintendo one, it has a higher chance than the countless Sega ones.

I'd buy that thing if it was just a decorative paper weight. Look at it! It's ******* cool!

Evo (the biggest fighting game tournament) 2016 just happened and hit some big numbers. Street Fighter V, the headline event, had over 5000 entrants and was screened on ESPN, I think the first fighting game to be screened on TV as 'eSports'. Super Smash Bros. Melee, the event before SFV, had the peak viewership online with 209k, which shattered previous years records (set by Melee). I'll put up some some random links about the event - well worth checking out the scenes before they get too big to start following!!!

the skill levels people have in these games is immense. it's kind of more impressive than what we see sports teams do, when you get to the point where guys are executing everything frame-perfect. i guess it's like sports, if you like the game you're more inclined to understand and like it being played competitively.

I do like the game though.

Rocket League for example, I love it. Would I sit there watching others play it? Nope. Why would I when I can play it?

Don't get me wrong, I am not hating on people that do enjoy it, its just not for me.
