Ok, so I read some stuff in another thread and couldn't find it, so posting it here. What's the best way to burn (belly) fat fast?

I have a goal to reduce it within 1-2 months. Constraint is 40-45 minute sessions (6-7 days a week) and can't go too crazy as I'm past my footy playing days. Have access to a good gym so equipment not an issue. They also have plenty of group classes though most when I can't attend.
Eat less.

This is my impression of Trump
“Yeah I just become president on my first go and I didn’t even want to. That’s how much people love me. People are so stupid, you just tell them anything in a loud voice and they love it. They totally love it. Hey hasn’t my daughter got a great body? I mean wow look at her! You know I bought the miss universe pageant and I can just walk backstage and inspect the girls. They’ll be there naked but because I own the show I’m entitled to inspect the merchandise. Before I bought miss universe it was awful, they were trying to bring in more intellectual girls but I was like NO! just bring me the hot ones. It’ll be great. The best ever.”

Shhhh Fox News is on
I read that in Donald's voice. Just the right amount of creepiness.

The father in law & I always buy each other Scotch. I got him a bottle of 14YO Balvenie. We generally drink it together. It’s a nice little tradition
I've just knocked off a bottle of spiced Wild Turkey. That's why I'm posting crap at 1.30 in the morning.

I heard a fitness guru discussing this subject recently, mostly in reference to people who go on sudden post New Year fitness kicks and the biggest mistakes they make.

He said "the biggest mistake? They train an hour per day and pay little heed to the other 23 hours. What they do with that time will likely determine how successful they are in their plight to regain a fit trim frame."

He pressed home that increased exercise leads to increased appetite and controlling that will help immeasurably.

I dropped 8 kgs over winter by eating less. No exercise. Always a battle cos I love my junk food.

Come summer and cricket season, I'm exercising and the weight loss has stalled. Find myself feeling hungry, probably need professional advice on correct diet or maybe should stop having a couple of beers after training

Already cut out carbs. What type of HIIT? Needs to be intense but not so intense that it takes half a week or longer for my body to recover. When you say boxing do you mean speed boxing?
Whatever you do is going to hurt. Don’t push to hard at the start, but if you’re not sore the next day you’re not working hard enough. Make sure you warm up & warm down to avoid injuring yourself.

Go to your local boxing gym, most are pretty good with walk ins, and just ask if you can work the circuit. The hardest part will be walking in, it can be intimidating for some people, but honestly you’ll be surprised by how welcoming and friendly they are. Tell them if youre just looking to lose weight and learning a bit of boxing is nice too. Take a skipping rope & some mits, you should get some wraps too.

Most gyms will have a bell set to a timer. Start skipping when the bell goes, every time the bell rings do 5 push-ups or 10 sit-ups, skip for 3 cycles (bell rings). Then start on the bags. There will usually be someone walking around the bags giving tips etc. Basically just start punching the bag while moving around it, when the bell rings do 5 push-ups or 10 sit-ups then move to the next bag. Do that for about 45 minuets. You’ll be sore the next day so have a rest day in between, maybe walk on that day.

Anything, as long as you're not wearing 3/4 shorts when you're doing it ;)

Try getting on a cross trainer/ stationary bike/ treadmill and going 40 seconds easy and 20 seconds at 80%+ maximum effort. Repeat 6-8 times. Doesn't sound like much, but you'll be stuffed by the end. Any exercise with active recovery between periods of intense effort is good.

Also, hit the weights, particularly compound exercises targeting larger muscle groups e.g. squats and dead lifts. That'll get your metabolism going. And make sure you spend at least 5-10 minutes stretching at the end of each session or you'll be zombie walking for a couple of days after.

If you can, get someone to train with as it really helps for those inevitable times when motivation is dipping. Most of all, have fun doing it.

I lost 17kg before my nuptials with a controlled diet and a mix of strength/cardio training. Took 12 months but never felt better.

3 x weights sessions per week (1x session legs with a focus on either dead’s or squats, 1x chest and back, 1x session shoulders + arms). Lightish Weights, but high intensity. 8-12 exercises, 4 sets per exercise 8 reps minimum)

I would have 3 dinners during the week @6.00pm and not eat anything afterwards. Then the next morning i’d Do 45 minutes of fasted cardio. High intensity effort either boxing, x-trainer, tower or running. Or a mix of all of them.

I found when I done the fasted cardio i’d Lose more in those weeks! Made a heap of difference. On those mornings after training I wouldn’t eat till around 11. It just gets your metabolism into overdrive.

Diet was simple. All I did was limit carbs (no chocolate, lollies, bread or white potatoes) lots of good fats (avocado, coconut oil, olive oil, as much fish as you can get) and a reasonable amount of protein.

Breakfast during the week was usually a vanilla protein shake with frozen mango, banana and blueberries.

Lunch, tuna/turkey/chicken salad with a little bit of brown rice. Lots of spinach and 4 beans to fill you up.

Dinner, steak and veg, crumbled chicken and veg, lamb salads, chicken wraps with heaps of salad.

Would usually have pizza once every 10-14 days as a cheat meal but didn’t really think of it as a ‘cheat meal’ more as a reward for effort because I bloody love pizza!!
