Probably can't live down independents taking Gillard's side.
There was an interview with Tony Windsor where he basically said he didn't want to form govt with Gillard but couldn't bring himself to form a govt with Abbott because he thought he was not up to it/an incompetent *******. Not with those exact words but it was wtte of "I couldn't do that in good conscience, given my responsibilities to the Australian People."

It didn't get much coverage but it turns out he was pretty accurate in his assessment.

The Libs should have gone full rebuild in 2008 instead of their half arsed, Wobbies World reset.

Re the cop training thing, Joe Rogan did his podcast/interview thing with a former marine who became a cop in Baltimore. His insights are astoundingly disturbing. Inadequately trained is an understatement.

And when an armed teacher loses their shit and kills a classroom of kids the next logical step is to arm the kids. NRA wins!!

Seriouslynesslessly though, arming teachers is the next step in an arms race. No problem has ever been solved by adding more fuel to the fire. Messed up kids will just step shit up by blowing up classrooms/schools instead. Then what?
Obviously kids will have to wear explosive neck collars and have their vital signs monitored.

Who would sacrifice the great grandsons and daughters
Of her jealous mother
By sucking their brain
Until their ability to think was amputated
By pimping their instincts
Until they were fat, horny and strung-out
In her neurotic attempt to be queen of the universe
Who is this bitch?

Or we enact Battle Royale.

nn junior landed himself an apprenticeship today! I honestly thought we're more chance of landing on the moon than that happening.

The little ( big actually) ****** has done my head in for years. Got the Christian school he occasionally visited kicked out of inter school soccer after he started an all in brawl. 2017 Nov I has an interesting visit to said Christian College to discuss his future. The picture they tried to paint wasn't great. Said he is a smart arse...... I was shocked !

Is now an apprentice carpenter like Jesus...... I'll remind those ******s.
Also is currently sporting a mullet that would do Joe Dirt proud- where did I go wrong?
Since we're being proud dads :D, some may remember Lileasy who used to post on here well he did his media course and has been toiling away the last 3 years doing podcasts and on line stories, mainly on US sports and connecting with sports media types. Steve Salisbury invited him into the SEN studios in 2016 where he spoke about all things US sports and his own personal ambitions and they formed a friendship.

That friendship lead to an interview with producer Jay Mueller (ex MMM and now Sen) at the start of 2017 regarding a NFL podcast he was starting up. Jay signed him up straight up and became part of the "In the Pocket" weekly podcast. The podcast is available on Google play, Itunes and Spotify so it has a wide audience. I cheekily gave it a pump up on the US Podcasts thread on the US Sports board as if I had no connection to it :D but I don't think anyone fell for it

A sidenote, Lileasy (Joshy 3 eyes) was at the Superbowl party at Docklands hosted by Corey McKernan with Steve Salisbury and Darren Bennett. They were doing interviews, reviews etc.

There may also be SEN opportunities if they choose to have a US sports time slot but we'll see. Not bad for a 22yo with no connection in the media 3 years ago. And all this time he sat there watching hours upon hours upon hours of NFL, NBA and MLB may actually pay off :)

For some reason I am finding myself watching the Winter Olympics and enjoying.
Had never given it the time of day previously.
Same here, bit I can't shake the feeling Darryl Eastlake is going to rush out with a pile of cash after the snowboarding events.

Oh that’s cool. Good work by him! He was also on Ross Payne’s NMFC podcast, yeah?

Not too sure I remember putting it on here, but the short story is one was murdered by the bloke across the road, imo, and the other 2 were successfully rehomed at another farm. Also found a new home for 1 of my retrievers whilst the other retriever and the cat are here with me in Funkytown. So the weekend before Christmas I had to bury my little boys best friend. So very sad.

Yeah well, the girl housesitting for me said the dog had been hit by a car and killed. I asked her about the car and the people in it - it is a single lane 100 zone. No car, no people, no skid marks, just fur going up old mateys driveway. I'd suggest dragged by tractor, cant prove it, wont even try, its just what I think. Poor dog had no fur on one side of him. He was a big dog, and if someone had hit him with a car it'd be like hitting a big roo. Anyway, my little boy is happy with 1 dog here, and the cat and my dad and my new mum have also just bought a new little puppy dog, golden retriever style, so sadly, but ultimately, we move on and enjoy this new one.

Woah. That's even lower.
Yep, and I haven't even told you the long version where said "neighbour" is quite "unneighbourly". Anyway, I sleep soundly at night, and this too shall pass, unless bloody Gandalf shows up. Thanks for the thoughts though.
On a happier note, my little boy has now had his photo taken with 2 superstars, the great Harry Kewell, and the smooth moving Sean Higgins :)

Don't even, it brings me to tears every time I remember it. My little mate sometimes asks about the dogs, he knows where the other 3 went, but the last one is just out having a cup of tea.

Got a couple of weeks off with some o/s visitors coming. Just listening to SEN for some footy fix before 9.00 but the bloody traffic report ! Truck rollovers, trucks hitting buses, multicar pile-ups, literal chaos.
