Yeah you gotta look out for those dudes with the lizards on the shoulder. Dodgy pick pocketing noobs.

I always hang out at the Jamaican/Rastafarian bar getting my smoke on before rolling up the street to find someone to get my poke on.

Tiger Bar was the best.
Yeah didn't mind a few Singas at Tiger too. There was this table dance bar run by Russians when I was there a few years ago. The women were ridiculously tidy, but too many campaigner Russian blokes it wasn't worth it. Ended up at the Cowboy bar just around the corner more often than not, they at least made me feel like they weren't going to flog my wallet.

Red Mountain golf course is all time.

Yeah it's infested with Russians which is why I holiday at Palawan and Boracay in the Philippines these days.

Red Mountain GC is amazing, they even have female caddies there just in case you need a bit of relief mid round in the jungle.

Monumental dose of the CBF's today!

Missus has decreed that we both need to shed a few kegs (fair enough too - I have put a few on), so I'm off the grog mid week and no sneaky biscuits, cakes, etc. The real killer though is trying to run in this ridiculous humidity up in Brisbane - you folks up here are are seriously taking the piss with this weather!

I cast my thoughts back to a solo trip to South East Asia that I did about 3-4 years ago. I suspect that my travel blog would be somewhat different to that from old mate Gasometer!

Hyeppy Times!!
When you tow along a 13 year old Miss Gaso it's kinda like beach ...pool..elephants...etc ...and not Bangla Rd...you know?

Got onto a great little tour today that took us all over...highlight was the elephant ride and baby elephant that got to feed. Went to Big Buddha. It's 50% complete. Doesn't matter...open it anyway! It's about the only point on the island with a sea breeze. Visited cashew factory, and then a Thai Farm where rode water buffalo and saw a monkey climb tree to pick coconuts. 8 hour tour. Wrecked!

Woof is in Boarding Kennel. German Shepherd is neighbors dog.

Woof is a bitch.

Means with your theory she would be lesbian dog.

NTTAWWT.

FWIW had seafood feast tonight. Fresh out of tank...tanks everywhere...about 20 with fish, lobster, king prawns all along Patong Beach Road.

Went up Bangla Rd about 6pm.

Left at 6.05pm.[/QUOT

I assume this occurs just before you get your "I didn't realise 'she' was a bloke" on.

Jeepers looking at news.com.au horrific...a baby...that pram.

Devastating.

Until the next nightclub shooting, mosque bombing, isis chemical gassing.

Am convinced we live in a sad world. Glass half empty for me. What makes people do these things ? No answer.

Be glad when the next meteorite / comet strikes. Sitting here with a gin & tonic and
open arms.

Sorry to all affected ( basically all 7.5 billion of us ) but we blew it. Let the insects and wildlife takeover and see if they can do a bit better.

After a tough end to 2016 personally, 2017 has not exactly been great either so far.

My Dad had sudden bowel surgery yesterday, and during surgery found other complications that likely would have mean death in near future if not picked up as it by chance was.

Dad is in ICU and sure the recovery will be much longer due to the extensive surgery, but Dad and us have been very lucky in the circumstances.

The ICU staff and Dr who performed the work at Calvary have been outstanding. They deserve a massive thank you for their fantastic work.

Thanks mate.

He's going really well considering the amount of surgery, likely will have to wear a colostomy bag for rest of life and strict diet etc, but that's much better than what it could have been.....
Sorry to hear Saintly. Health throws some very crazy curveballs at us during life.

No doubt the old man is as tough as wood pecker lips! I'm he'll pull through and come out the other side tougher than ever.
