Should i get rid of robert murphy, anyone?
Desperately need help with this one. I know he has potential but to score a 43, albeit the entire side was shit, is just rookie stuff. Should i get off him before his price keeps dropping or will he/should he pick up form?

My midfield is pretty solid, although regretting of never bothering with Boyd. Too late now, i like my midfield. My forward is just OK and my backs are pretty average...

Any advice on murphy would be great though! Thanks all..

I don't see Murphy being a top 10 forward by the time DT finals come so I would say he would need an upgrade. Would imagine he would be close to the last upgrade you would make. I would hold him and by memory dogs have bye just before DT finals start so if you can afford the trade I would say that is the time to upgrade him.




For me to complete my midfield. need 2 players. Thinking out of Boyd, Swan, J Selwood, Ablett, Pendlebury. (although worried about J Selwood bye in finals)

Obvious choices are Boyd and Swan. assuming Swan will be fully fit again by round 14.

Does anybody else not trust the majority of premium backs? As in, being reliable. I only have four: Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio and Enright (& Heppell). I'd like to bring in Scotland but it may cause me to much hassle come finals, and well, I don't want to bring in Adcock because I know he'll get injured as soon as I do... Lol.

What do people think about Rioli?

He is in my team but I am worried about him. I figure with his B/E of 121 that if I am going to dump him, this is the week to do it.

Is he a keeper? Will he just get mediocre scores for the rest of the year (or injuries) given he is going to play forward and not in the midfield?

I've got the same problem.

Interestingly Fantasy Freako did a bit on the most dumped players since round 5 - Rioli came in second after Higgins.

I'm holding on to the guy, he's not the biggest problem in my team at the moment and even if he bleeds money in the short term (which he will) I'm gambling that his hammy will be ok the rest of the year and he'll improve DT wise as the season bears on.

Given the amount who jumped off him he'll gain some "uniqueness" now and also has a fantastic finals run.

Looking at Ports side, there are a few others who may take the vest before him -hitchcock, o'shea, philips and moore to a name a few.

it's a worry though, particularly when i'm thinking of playing him.

Port generally go with experienced players as subs.

I'm starting him. Though I have a horrible record at picking the right rookies ... but then again, who doesn't?

Well Libba has a Break Even over 100 this week so I would say it is time to move him on. I don't know your forward line but Pavlich and Goodes are top forwards but average mids. My thought would be to downgrade somebody in your forwardline to a Dual position player (Mzungu if you don't have him). Then swap Pavlich to forwards for Mzungu. Then I would use the cash to upgrade Libba to a better option. Hodge has one more week at a good price before he jumps further. There are a few options around 370 ish in the midfield that would be a nice upgrade.

I traded Callinan in (80k, likely to get a call up soon, just returned from injury) for Monfries, swapped Plavlich to the forward line with Callinan who i made reserve midfield. I then used the money to trade in Hodge for Libba, with 101k to spare

Anyone else going with 2 emergencies in the forward line this week? For my forward line, there are doubts over Franklin (calf), Sylvia (cork) Chapman (groin) Fyfe (shoulder stinger).

Only question is do i leave my midfield or backs without an emergency

If you've got a playing M/F in the mids (say Mzungu), just switch him around with Sylvia/Chapman/Fyfe (the most doubtful, I'd say Fyfe) and have another mid emg cover them.

Now you've only got 2 potential zeroes.

Sylvia should be fine being a Monday match. If Chapman is named, he'e be OK to go as well. The other two are bigger doubts although Fyfe seems to push through it every week.
