With 17 games this year and less than 50% making finals I'd say there is zero chance 8 wins will be enough.
I'd say 9-8 and a decent % should scrape you over the line.

Is a kick that results in an out on the full still a +3? Because that's what Martin done and he was still rewarded with the 3 points (much to my delight

More of a statement and less of a question but
Really hope nobody wins a weekly from making a team specifically for byes. Can only assume that anyone keen enough to make a team specifically for byes would not choose to ignore DT for the whole year just for the one week chance of a weekly these 3 rounds. Half expecting to see somebody's "2 year old" win the round.

I have a similar question. If I captain Beau Water (suspended) and VC Robinson, can I swap the C after the game if Robinson spuds it up?
well i know it will work with a player not named whose team was playing but I am unsure if byes become locked zeros.
You definitely can't use Waters though as he will lock with the Thursday night game

In the Big-Footy cash leagues the winner is based on 'overall ranking'. Is this referring to the national overall ranking (ie your ranking out of the 280,000 odd players), or your overall ranking in the individual league.
I'm not actually playing in one, but just curious, and will likely be joining 1 or 2 next year.

I know last on extended bench means nothing but worried about Sam Shaw being the sub this week. Can only really see, Douglas, Martin or Talia taking it off him.

If a player throws the ball but ump doesnt see it or call it does it still get counted as a handball? I assume so?
