Thing is, my other defenders are:

Deledio, Goddard, Gibbs, Enright, Broughton, Adcock.

So can't really get both. I'm thinking, is it worth having Heppell as B7, or should I get suckling for him? Will they average that different for the rest of the season?

6 of one and half a dozen of the other. Considering Suckling is an extra 30K, I wouldn't do it personally.

If you've got Heppell already, I wouldn't bother trading him out for Suckling.

No. Now it's too late. With Gysberts it's known he gets the bill, but efficiency is crap. Also he always gets tagged out of the game, given his frame I cannot fault him. I wasted a trade to get him in before his initial price rise, and punting on him to become like foley-crotchin like (ie, adequate cover on field AND making moneY), his inconsistency burned me and I resolved to have him benched, and unfortunately upgraded him just before his 111 (making about 80k). With his recent score you get about 30k or more out of him rise but that's about all the upside unless he can keep it up - which has too many outside factors eg Melb overall performance etc, not going to bank on it. At this stage of the game, you have many teams already with full mid-premium, you cannot afford to play gysberts, so it's a bad trade.

You want my advice? Take the tips on here with a grain of salt, it's your team, do want you want.

Remember, you're trying to get ahead of the pack, not be in line with them.
 
never really had this problem before but 3 of my defenders - heppell, lower and hibberd - have the orange circle next to their name and sc says they're 'unlikely to play'

what's the deal with that? surely lower and heppell will get a game.

anyway id just like some clarification before selecting my emergencies/who starts on the field

All named on extended bench as playing in a Sun game. Wait til after 5pm today and check sides again, then you will have an answer

Yep, it's just an annoying glitch in the system.
Until Fri 5pm, they should be ditching the phrase 'unlikely to play'.
 
Where else can I find SC breakevens? Fanfooty has been down for a while, for me at least.
 
Contemplating running with two forward emergencies this week. Have both Sylvia and Franklin on the field, with Darling and Mzungu warming the pine. The donut Franklin gave me last week still stings.
 
Any way of getting Sylvia into your midfield (if you have a Swan or non-premium M6), then playing Darling in forwards with Mzungu as emergency, and a midfield reserve? It's what I managed to do this week (I have Chappy and Franklin).

If not it's up to you I guess.
