I have quite a few animated discussions with my mate regarding all things TV.

I have a few questions that need answering.

1) How much do you think voice over guys get paid? For example how much would that bloke off The Castle - Michael Caton - get for the Grand Agnus add?

2) Is that d!ck in the add that asks the Tour De France riders do the mountain stage again because he wasn't watching, the same bloke who used to be on Home and Away.

i've been told that the brand power chick gets $10k an advert.

I was at a corporate do once and Ahn Do was the guest speaker. He's like a B-grade celeb at best and he told us he made $500k in a year (2007) and was going for a mil in 2008.

I was really surprised he made that. A few starts on Thanks God You're here, the corporate speaking circuit, and a few other TV and radio gigs.

Surprisingly our domestic TV celebs make some reasonable cash.

In the states maybe certain voice over people for the networks could pull that money, but it wouldn't be the norm/average.
