I mean Dawes is decent, but how will we replace the defending of AJ. It could only be appropriate that with Dawes and Pendlebury, Heath Shaw is thrown in. However, he has a gambling problem, so Harry O will complete the package *























* they can keep Harry O Brien.

A fair trade would be Thornton for Nathan Brown who supported Carlton as a kid.

If we don't get Goddard, then I can see Brown being our fall back and moving to the Blues for a fringe player.

Dawes to Carlton huh?

Think about the chances of Jamison going to Collingwood and the overall likelihood given the clubs hate each other.

Then rethink your statement on Dawes.

How long to people start bringing up Wells from our lost drafts...he is showing a bit now and i'm sure we could nab him for either AJ or Armfield :rolleyes:...and he is another mid when all said and done!

Any chance of Goddard coming to carlton? Grew up going for the blues...and hinted at a possible move to another team on the footy show a few weeks back. Seriously, who would want to play for the saints?
 
Do people think Adelaide might be one of the clubs interested in bower now that davis has gone.

Maybe Bower + 1st round for Shaun Mckernan or T Walker + Andy Otten?

Goodness I hope not. Burns the ball every time he gets near it.

Wells could be a good acquisition provided:

  • We don't pay too much
  • He doesn't take up too much salary cap room
  • Leprachauns dance on my hat
  • He is fit
  • And we don't have some other quick, skillful, young player *cough* Yarran *cough* who could arguably play the role he'd be required to

So yeah I am totally loving these suggestions
