I find it hard to watch the old Bond movies after watching Casino Royale. Daniel Craig's Bond is so much better - I love the awesome cold, hard edge he gives him. Can't wait for the next film.
I've read a lot of the books and that's how Bond is supposed to be. Old school Bond just seems too corny now.

Have any of you read the books? I have and James Bond is a distant, heartless, ruthless, cold and calculating son of a bitch. He f**ks every woman he meets but rarely feels any emotion towards any of them.
Craig perfectly captures how Fleming intended Bond to be. Not the poncy, corny, cartoon character the early films turned him into.

Brooding, moody, deep thinking, personality-less bond is the real Bond. That's his whole charm - he's supposed to be a ruthless killer. Not a nice guy at all. You've all been sucked in by the corny cartoon Americanisation of Bond.
