If I see or hear one more joke about how it's against Adelaide's "team rules" to kick forward, or how players are dropped for kicking forward, or any other similar joke, I swear I'm going to scream.

Yes yes I get it, it's ironic, very clever and all. It was barely funny the first time, it's downright painful by the thousandth time. When I tune into 5AA to hear Robert Walls, Caroline Wilson and Graham Cornes rattle on and they're not the most annoying part of the show, something is drastically wrong.

Bloody Tiger stuffed up our resevation (they put my first name down as my mates first name), then slug you a $30 'difference in fare' because you can only do the change via their call centre.

To their credit they waived their $120 name change fee, and even with the $30 fee it's still cheaper flying them than the other airlines, just disappointed I get slugged for their error.

the slow mo's are nothing
those 7 use for the aussie open You can see all the movements in the muscles, looks gross

tho only thing i'm not liking here is the camera looking up from those dugouts at the end of the court, and it's on an angle

Federer has fallen back to the back, Wimbledon is a 4 man race. I'd go Murray over Nadal over Federer over Djokovic (But dont rule out Hewitt and Roddick who play well on grass)

Wear and tear on the body. Style of game he plays is so unbelievably brutal. Can't sustain the same effort anymore, and is getting injured more frequently due to repetitive stress on the body. The equivalent of a genuine battering ram in footy, it simply shortens your career. He can still rip a nasty top spinner off the dirt but you can see it takes more out of him these days than it used to.

If he does manage to win this year's FO, I'd suggest it will be his last grand slam win. Perhaps a year left as a top 5 player, maybe a little longer if he continues to concentrate his schedule.

I often wonder about that actually, I wonder which sports are worst on the body? Obviously most sports were invented long before people took OH&S into consideration, but which ones involve repetitive movements most destructive to the body?


I just got moved up a division in my racquetball competition because half of the higher-rated players keep getting injured.

At first I thought it wasa weird looking moon but then soon the moon more to the west as it should be. I watched the light for a little while then realised it was slowly moving, it then just lowered a little bit and it either went behind the hills or a cloud. Very weird, not sure what it could of been.

Bad luck to Stosur, but well done for making it to the final, and knocking off Henin and Serena Williams on the way.

The better girl won on the day.

Even Sharapova doesn't bother me when she grunts on the court (though why feels the need to hooooold on to the note she makes is beyond me), those things very rarely do. But my God, I can still hear Schiavone in my head
