subaru - why he had the affairs, or why he apologised? If it's the former, well, because he could I guess. If the latter, it's pretty obvious that he had to if he wants any chance to move on professionally and personally. Very ugly situation all round.

Symesy - that's pretty poor form from the flame guy. Even if it was a plant, that's still not really what live performance art is all about.

What is the bubble maze?

The apology stabby. It's not us he has to apologise to...his sponsors and the PGA surely he would meet face to face.

BTW I love the Silent Disco .... absolute crack up!

After a while the guy juggled some knives (meh, seen it before) and then the guy from the crowd was meant to stand on top of the bed of nails which would be on top of the flame guy but after 10 minutes of him putting it off, my friends and I (and other people) just got up and walked off.

The bubble maze!:

Yeah, standing outside the Silent Disco tent watching people dance is pretty hilarious :thumbsu: We were going to go in there, then we realised we could all just listen to our iPods and have the same effect...

From what I understand, he was apologising to a room primarily full of friends and family. But that said, he should apologise to the public in general - a lot of them looked up to him, and he let them down.

Personally I thought it was a fairly classy apology, but then he's had several months to come up with one. Hopefully he can get back to playing golf soon so we can talk about that instead of his infidelities - and hopefully he actually gets the help he needs.

S15 - The bubble maze looks pretty cool, how big is it? I thought about heading down to the Fringe again this year but haven't bothered to really look it up. I think I might leave it as one of those things I'll do if a friend arranges a group thing but otherwise not bother

But you'd all have to be listening to the same song at the same time. I went last year and we had a crack at it ... the song that they played was "Tainted Love" ... every one moved the same way at the same time. :)

From what I saw of it last night, it's pretty big :). I reckon next time I'm in Adelaide I might have a go at it.

Looks like Geelong are just as screwed as us this season..if not worse. At least we lost to a "respectable" (using that word VERY lightly) team, considering Port think of every showdown as their Grand Final, but losing to North Melbourne? That's just embarrassing Cats

Now that was not serious. I said that to a Geelong supporting friend earlier tonight and now I'm pretty sure we're not friends....touchy touchy! I couldn't believe he got so annoyed with me and he said it was because he was upset about the loss. Seriously?? It's the NAB Cup! I don't give a sh*t that the Crows are out, it means we can concentrate on the real stuff, not the wishy washy crap that comes with the NAB Cup (i.e. the fact that players have to pretend they care. With the NAB Challenge the AFL expects them not to care)

Back to the Fringe - I hate how Carl Barron NEVER comes to the Fringe! He is my favourite comedian and I am in stitches whenever I watch his DVDs. I saw him in 2008 and it was one of the funniest nights ever. WHY DOES HE NEVER COME TO THE FRINGE?! :(

Sorry...I've thought about this. I don't think he owes the public an apology. Surely the people invited to the "room" were his close friends and family anyway and he would have already spoken to them.

If he was making an announcement about a date when he was coming back, sure. I now think his squeaky clean image was managed by the same people who told him to say sorry, and how to say it.

I don't subscribe to sportsmen and women being "role" models. Sure you have a high level of respect for the likes of Hird, Kelly, Kirk et al, but it never stopped me enjoying watching Cousins, Hall and Carey.

I agree that sportsman shouldn't necessarily be role models, but regardless of that, I think for his own sake he would have felt like he let an enormous number of people down, and an apology to all of those people would go a long way to helping him move on to the next stage of life. Does he owe them an apology? Probably not, but I still feel that when you let people down that look up to you, you should apologise anyway, even though you're not necessarily obliged to.

Saw none other than Richo out on the town last Saturday night, after encountering Didak the week before. Boy does he dress well, and he is ****ing tall! I also saw Motlop, which then depressed me a little.:(

I fully hate it when you’re at a pub in the city and some random just come up and talk shit to ya, it’s even worse when you can fully understand them as you haven’t been drinking.

I had a classic example of this on Saturday night, except it was not just some random, rather Callum Ferguson and Mark Cleary.:D Fergy was alright, but Cleary was on his way quickly to struggletown. Anyway, provided a lot of entertainment, and even persuaded my mates and I to the casino at 4am haha.:thumbsu:

Saw tim Minchin the other night was excellent! but I laughed hardest at the fact I took my boyfriend to it and all the songs were interllectually funny so he had a bit of a tough time so I asked which song was his favourite and he says..... "the one about Boobs'

Anyone catch Tim Nielson's little slip up at the airport today? He was asked a question (not sure of the exact question), however replied with 'We haven't had too much sex..... success lately etc etc'. Haha:thumbsu::D
