Fair enough then. But his demolition of Soderling last night can't be ignored, this kid will be a star.
The win over Daveydenko showed more.
Rd 3 he was playing a guy who had come off a very tough 5 setter, where he had to dig deep and overcome Hewitt after being down 2 sets to love.

Against Daveydenko he was playing a star, ok, on his last legs, but he was fresh and ready to make one last shot at Wimbledon.

Both were good efforts though.
I'm hoping he can beat Malisse and play Djokovic in the Quarters.

Anyone been to Valencia?

Watching the Formula one, how nice does that place look. Quality. :thumbsu:

Womens tennis is rubbish, and has been for a while. Just the two Williams sisters, who simply used brute force to stay at the top for so long, winning grand slams and playing bugger all else - even now, well past their peak, they can still do it - and a mishmash of Eastern European girls with all the mental fortitude of a sugar glass window at a cricket ground.

Which is born out in the results - when the Williams are fit and trying, they blitz the competition. All the rest can't can string together enough small time stuff for a high ranking, but choke and lose to qualifiers and wildcards at the major tournaments, and endless turnover of players who aren't really good enough.

It's just boring to watch, and no wonder everyone is turning off in droves - as opposed to mens Tennis, which is the strongest it has been in decades, even if every tournament including the grass of Wimbledon has been turned into a baseline battle.

I'm spewing that Fed vs Tsonga wasn't on TV, some of the highlights they were showing through the Tomic match were outstanding.

Ditto the men's doubles.

Have a Scoopon for Flufferz car wash. Earlier this week I thought I'd call and book in, thinking I'd get in Friday no problems. Nope - booked out until next Thursday. Ok, so try a Saturday - 5 week wait! So booked in for that Saturday, which is the last Saturday before the Scoopon expires (phew).

Obviously don't want repeat business when many other car wash places you can just rock up without a booking.

To be fair though, they sold over 4200 Scoopons. They'd probably be a little busy.

Fair enough, and I waited until now because I was burning off the last batch for The Wash on Unley Rd.

One things for sure - with another voucher for 2 more washes elsewhere valid until November my car will be spoilt over the next few months!

Good luck, I had one and went there and the job was complete shit.

Why to parents bring infants/children to cinemas then not control them. Went to see Mr Poppins Penguins tonight and while it's a good movie, having Mr and Mrs deadbeat parent up the back letting their children run amok in the theatre wasn't good.

If you can't control your kids in movie theatres don't bring them!

I would have said something :) Couldn't have resisted maybe five years ago no, but these days it costs a fair bit to go to the movies so yeah if anyone starts ruining it they'll be told.

I had free tickets so the cost didn't worry me. I'm surprised no one else said something though.

Need to brush up on my movie skills.

Hoping I can encourage a lapsed North Melbourne supporter that going to the footy here is not that bad. Big ask I know...
