Officially it opens on the 28th, but they're doing a soft opening the weekend before (walk-ins only).

Last night, tonight and tomorrow are the mock shifts.

Outstanding place. Love the set up in there. Service is excellent. Food is outstanding (the only place who can do better onion rings than Hungry Jacks).

Apparently the Marion store is going to be the test store for future expansion (their argument is Adelaide is the toughest market to crack so if they can crack Adelaide they can crack anywhere).

I haven't been to one here, but there is a TGI Friday's in San Francisco International Airport that I've been to a number of times - it's the only place I've ever been to at any airport that is worth going to simply on it's own merits, rather than because if you don't eat there you'll have to eat the shitty food on the plane.

Hope it's as good here :thumbsu:

Hopefully it lasts longer than the North Adelaide Outback Jack steak place that closed down yesterday. :mad:

The Outback Jacks at North Adelaide was there for a couple of years. Reckon the Marion one won't last too much longer with TGI Friday's next door offering superior meals.

First innings lead in both tests but history might remember us getting whitewashed and a good flogging like they use to give out at robin island prison...........oops sorry for being stereotypical..............can't say gollywogged either as Harry Conack junior might be offended.

Love the feeling when you win a game of basketball by 1 point when you are 10 points down in the last quarter.

Even better when you are the one who scored 4 points in 30 seconds to finish it off.

Below this is just for Wall-e ;)

Both full court drives (as in i got the rebound and just took off)
First one ended up at the key, free throw line intersection, drove to the baseline, edge of the backboard with some spin off the hand and rolled it in.
Last one, I ended up equal with the base of the key, just before i went out of court slinged it one handed sideways towards the basket. Had the defender all over me trying to block it. 6 seconds left up by a point.

I'd be livid if I were on the other team, repeat end to ends shouldn't happen. Love the last second 'flick' in for the win. Other eam would not be happy :)

Only ever won 3 games with last second shots, one was a final which was good. But there's not a whole lot of last second situations for post players/spot up shooters. I can claim a three pointer while on crutches though :D

I cant believe it did tho, the D was very good, wouldnt let me in the key forcing me to the base line where i had no choice but to shoot in hope. Hand in the face and all.

Love the last second 'flick' in for the win. Other eam would not be happy :)

Had to get a replacement license this week because since I got my eyes lasered I don't need the Conditions: glasses must be worn while driving on my license, but needed one quickly because I'm going overseas on Monday. Went to the DMV place at Mitcham yesterday, waited an hour and got told the only people that can print one on the spot is the Adelaide branch. Go there today, within 15 minutes of arriving I had a new photo taken, left with a new license in my hand for free. I have no idea why they can't do that everywhere! Nothing worse than waiting around in a cramped building with old people for hours and then waiting a week for your license. The stupidest bit for me is they are obviously easily able to make on the spot replacement cards, why did I have to bring paperwork to prove I was going overseas so they would make it then and there!
