On the topic of the Boston bombings, I find it quite distasteful those people who have been sharing the unedited pic of one of the victims being wheelchaired away with his leg half blown off on Facebook. Give your tributes/thoughts/prayers to the victims by all means, but sharing gory photos of the blast is just sick IMO.

Even AdelaideNow has blacked out that part of the person's wound on the same photo (and still provided a graphic image warning).

I couldn't believe it when i saw it, vary rarely do you get graphic photos like that from these tragic events, feel for him and his family.

Yeah, I'd seen the AdelaideNow pic, but my mate shared the unedited pic. He removed it pretty quickly after I told him what I thought of him posting it.

I personally felt sick when I saw the bombings in Boston, such a waste of life for all involved. I'm glad to see the persons involved caught/taken care of... But the cynic in me just sees the massive flaws in American phycie.

The death of 3 will probably result in new security laws being put in place, a renewed focus on the Chenyan area. The American patriotic spirit comes out (U-S-A!)

Meanwhile the massacres prepretrated by American citizens cannot even result in small changes to US gun laws.

It was the same with the Texas explosion

Nek Minnit 5 dead in Seattle shooting... Nobody cares

Went to the crows members morning at Wesley College this morning. My son won the prize of being the mascot for the north melbourne game in a few weeks. I'm so pumped!

What was the line up like?

Not as bad as I thought it would be. Was there about 5:30 and was only a 15 minute wait. The staff there were brilliant in directing traffic to the nearest bowser.

Had to laugh at the NIMBY's on AdelaideNow who were complaining that the promo was irresponsible because it would cause traffic chaos (it didn't)

Was back in adelaide today. Was nice to fill uo the hire car nice and cheap. The lineup near horrocks road was pretty good. Looked far worse from the air an hour later

Anyone take advantage of the 99.9 cpl fuel this evening.

I did - saved about $25 to fill up

Nah, I'm still annoyed from earlier in the week. Needed to fill up but was running a touch late for work so figured I would do it at lunch time. Only a few hours later and petrol had risen 26c/L since the morning. And I was absolutely empty too, no choice but to cough up the money.

If I'd filled up today instead I would have saved a good $35.

I was just driving through Basket Range the other day and saw probably five separate instances of people with bonfires despite there being a fire ban active. No surprise this kind of thing has resulted. Wish people would stop being such dickheads about fire.
