Slightly healthier. As in, you can see it was once a chicken, not chicken food product.

Is good when smashed, like any greasy shit. Haven't had Oporto's in about 2-3 years, or fast food in about 1 year. Hate the smell of KFC when I'm smashed.....too tempting.

We should have a regular Q&A session Jo. You've always got the answers to my tough questions :)

Is it in the same junk category as McDonalds and Hungry Jacks, or slightly healthier?

Haha, I think it's a tad healthier in that Grilled Chicken is a tad better than Grilled Beef patties but the difference is negligible.

The ingredients seem to taste fresher then the bigger fast food chains hence my preference.

Yeah, I don't know what that chicken fillet at Subway is supposed to be.

I think they are trying to develop the free land adjacent to the phoenix society and the Holden car park with retail shops. By enlarging the roundabout there, building a retail shopping centre and car parking on both sides of the road will take up the free space.

It's taking a long time but, they are almost onto 12 months now.

South road is also taking a bloody long time as well.
it's being widened to cater for more traffic to edinburgh parks. you may not see much traffic at the times you go there, but i can assure you at 4pm, the traffic gets banked back for kilometers. as far as i now, there aren't any retail plans there

on opporto, i'm pretty sure the raafies and companies like BAE were keeping that place open

i'm also pissed what they've done to west ave, it wasn't known to many that west ave was actually open to traffic for a couple of years despite the signs saying otherwise. this changed about 6 months ago though

I don't understand why they've done it either. Not sure if it's paranoia about access to the RAAF area (I know roads around that area have always been changing because of this) or if it's to stop heavy vehicles using Salisbury North as a shortcut to Edinburgh Parks (though good luck getting a heavy vehicle along Bagsters Rd, the FX6 buses struggle to fit on that road, not to mention they have a direct route along Pt Wakefield/Waterloo Corner/Healip Roads as it is).

I maybe wrong but I'm sure I read about it in the messenger press some 18 months ago. Saying that, It may have just been a proposal written about and then given some publicity and then the road developed had gone ahead and I've made a connection.

I had to change a flat tyre in the rain today :( On my birthday, too.

And then my engine died on the way home :( This is bullshit.

They say bad things happen in 3's, i guess Sloaney will get a gf tomorrow or something?:p

When you don't check the weather in the morning, don't take an umbrella to Uni and it buckets down, life sucks.:(

This happened to me yesterday as well. Left at about 10am for uni and it looked all good. Sun was out, majority blue sky. I knew it was going to rain later, just thought I could get back home by 3 before it hit. Luckily when it first started pissing down I managed to stay under cover for about 20 minutes, and it didn't start up again until I was home and hosed.

Adelaide's train network has been shut down due to a lightning strike

http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/...-for-a-bucketing/story-e6frea83-1226299388849

Shambles. Was waiting on the Outer Harbour line for about 20 minutes (on the 2:32 train) before they told us there was no signal. Bus-ing it home wasn't much better either. Packed bus, ********s abound (including one schoolkid who just kept talking obscene amounts of shit and had someone threaten to clock him one). Driver missed a couple of stops too, which didnt help things.

Happy birthday stabby!

Can't post this on the Port board, I will get shot down and abused for trolling. But it is a genuine question I have. Since Port Magpies and Port Power merged and become 'one club', do they still get the 1/9 dividend that all the other SANFL clubs receive. I.E. Does 'Port Power' receive the dividend that is paid by the SANFL to the other SANFL clubs.

Sorry, it's very poorly worded, but I think you can work out what I mean.

No they do not get any dividend. From memory that was outlined when we Magpies members voted to merge. It was either vote to merge or eventually shut up shop.

Port also do not have a seat on the SANFL. So have no say in how the SANFL is ran.

I believe they will also miss out on any funds distributed once parts of Football Park is sold off.
