Seem to recall a thread about the lack of left footers we have in the team. Due to the now poor search filter I'm unable to find it, does anyone have a link to the thread by any chance? Just wondering in that if Grigg gets named this week, will he be the only left footer in our 22?

I think there are only two left footers in our entire squad - Grigg and Shaw.

What foot does Smith use? For some reason I have right in my head, but I thought I heard a commentator recently say he was a leftie?

I'm not usually one for bringing politics up, but in light of the Greens moving to try and get Nick X out can I ask we all make sure the Greens go the way of the Democrats this election?

Hypocrites at their best: http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/...in-election-deal/story-fnho52jl-1226699523115
All the more reason to vote below the line (unfortunately the uneducated masses will vote above the line because they want to get voting over and done with quickly )

I've decided that I'm going to decide my preferences over chook lotto.

Might be a bit tough bringing in a pile of frozen chickens and a barrel into the polling booth though :D

Anyone else voting for the Palmer United Party? Don't mind Clive at all. Pretty switched on, some interesting ideas.

Short Answer, Not a chance in hell.

He has too many business interests to make money from and cloud his thinking. All he would do is make things even better for the big business owner and employees would be worse off.

I am voting Labor. Cant stand Abbott

Who employs employees?

Lol, I know that but I am arguing he has too many interests for him to have an impartial view when it comes to business. hence his anti tax stance. Its what Libs do. They skew everything to the business side of things. The PPL is a disgraceful policy at the expense of pensioners. How millionaires get 75k of tax payers money for having a kid is just insanity at its finest.

To quote Vince McMahon, "no chance, that's what he's got"

His policies are in place for one person and only one person and that is Clive himself. His big business policy help his big business, he would have some anti mining tax policy and doubt he would have a policy to help unskilled unemployed people.

I doubt he would have an education or health care policy.

voting for him isn't going to happen in my lifetime.

Sorry, I didn't mean Palmer per se. I'm not actually voting for him. Think he's a clown.

It's just something that annoys me about Labor voters, who see business and big business as "evil" empires who must be stopped. Reality is that looking after businesses in turn looks after employees.

I am all for looking after business. its important. Just don't screw employees for the privilege. Some big businesses do deserve an evil title though for what they want to do. While the owners and management sit at country clubs, expensive dinner meetings, etc they pressure LNP and parties like palmers to screw the worker so they can increase their bottom line. How many banks do you think rang abbott the day rudd announced a levy for the bank insurance scheme? I bet all of them. Even though they could all afford it and wouldn't even notice the cost. I am just highlighting why I do not like LNP. The anti broadband stance should also be noted as just stupid. Especially since Abbott wants to be known as the infrastructure PM.

That's a fairly cartoon-ish portrayal of big business owners.

Profits are good. They lead to expansion and employment. Decrying them simply because the head honcho might buy himself a pink Ferrari as well is misplaced anger IMO.

Not if at the time he purchases his pretty Ferrari he demands his employees not have entitlements and work for low wages. Big business generally do look after employees. I am only mentioning the 5% that look for every competitive advantage to make as much profit as possible for shareholders.
