Wonders if there is any rules in the AFL disallowing females to play the game at the top level.

had to get a new avatar in for footy season that is a decent size before I lose the best deal in town.

Get used to seeing Tony this year, he's going to be the best indigenous kid we will of ever seen since the golden days of Andrew McLeod :thumbsu:

I thought the male half of that couple was really nice. One of the most likeable racers this year. His wife, Miss America, on the other hand.... completely obnoxious. The ultimate in "high maintenance".

Actually I struggled to really get behind any of the 12 teams this season. Normally I'll get right behind a team early on, but I think it was pretty much down to the final 5-6 before I settled the one team I decided to go for.

This group IMO were pretty weak and stupid, with several teams piking or making monumental mistakes - Zev and Justin losing their passports, Mika refusing to go down that waterslide, the poker girls giving up mid-leg, and the Harlem Globetrotters taking the 4 hour penalty in liew of completing the Road Block to name a few.
 
I used to watch the Cricket and listen to it on the Radio those days are long gone DAM IT

Apart from Mark Nicholas the rest of them fossiles give me the shits

My mum is taking me to CrowMania on Saturday to get something for Christmas (although I'm pretty sure I own everything in that store :p) so I'm planning on putting on the new away guernsey, taking a photo of me in it, then putting it back. I never buy the away guernsey but I wanna see what it looks like on. If I like it on then that will be my present for my 21st :)

Also, it's about to hit the 100 day mark until our first game! Just checked the fixture (I'm trying to work out a date for my 21st and not having much luck :() and its 100 days & about 20 hours :thumbsu: these will probably the slowest 100 days ever...

On those World Series Classics, have they shown that many that they don't even show 'Classics' anymore? I mean there was one on last night between Australia and Pakistan from 92/93, which had nothing special about it, just a normal game. I've seen some of them about 5 times though, so maybe they have run out of the true classics.

I got a new away and a new home guernsey today. Well they were bought today but I gotta wait until Christmas morning :p

Anyway they only had adult away jumpers and kid home jumpers in store, which suits me fine, but the kid's one has a navy vertical stripe going down the sides of the jumper so the horizontal stripes don't reach the edge of the top.

This left me wondering whether the playing tops will be like this or what... because I didn't think they were but why would they make the kids ones completely different :confused:

Yeah watched that one last night - maybe it's to show that the ICC have made the umpires uniforms really crappy now lol! Or maybe the classic part is which jacket is Richie wearing in his intro and outro :D

Seriously most are just normal games - today's was '87/88 Australia v Sri Lanka, and it was an easy Australia win, nothing special (though both teams had predominantly yellow strips - the only difference was Australia had a green stripe and Sri Lanka had a blue stripe!

One I saw the other day was from the 80s and showed India smash the Aussies, was hardly a 'Classic' game! They must have run out by now but I still love watching them.

I dont get that, fox sports does the same for Soccer. On the weekend before the Liverpool vs Arsenal game they had a game inbetween those two back in 97/98 named as EPL Classic Match, so I watch it expecting a good game,

I watch it, and the game was 4-0, what is so classic about that :confused:
I was sitting there expecting the losing team to score 3-5 goals in the last 10 minutes to make it a classic, but it was just dissapointing

Yer don't get me wrong, I still love watching them too! I'm sure though there must be some closer battles though than one where Australia wins by 8 wickets like the other night! Or maybe they could start showing some more recent classics.....
 
People who go to shopping Centre’s just to have a coffee with friends, do nothing or just get their ‘hang’ on should be shot.

I spent half a bloody hour last night looking for a park to get some Christmas Shopping done and these skid marks are just lounging around inside.

We’ll still have Pre-Season and Training reports, where we can get excited over players doing the pedestrian ;).

I also get to be ‘on a boat’ for a few weeks wating for PS, already started detoxing, only had water to drink and no ‘dirty’ foods, preparing for an onslaught to my senses come cruise time :)

That seems a little strange, why would they make one jersey different?

I imagine the Men’s would be identical…. But why would they bother making the kids different? Oh well, I’m busting this bad boy out constantly now, while you wait!

Strongly agreed, we have the luxury of having one of the best 4-5 lane each way freeways here and on the weekends I’m constantly met with 90km in each lane. 90 and below as well as exiting in far left, 90-95 second left, 95-100 second right, 100+ right.

Do you find some people will go the fame speed in a 60 as they do an 80? So they zoom past you….it changes, and your stuck behind these losers.

Also everytime I go to Adelaide I see HEAPS of drivers, especially on that road towards Glenelg, who go to do a U-Turn and swing their bloody car out in front of two lanes….e.g in right lane, doing a u-e and there’s aven a dedicated lane to do so, so they move into slip lane….then swing their bloody can back out into the right lane again. w***ers.
