Why dont you shut up if you were man enough to handle business i wouldnt have to be sleeping with your ex and your sister at the same time. :p
You know what, I'm deleting you as a friend.....well, I actually don't like losing numbers....but I'm putting you on block...and leave my handicapped sister out of this!

Good call Bruce! Seriously who the hell are they trying to kid that it is a serious tournament?

It aint a ATP or WTA event or ITF event (Grand Slams and a few of the bigger tournaments), so im not wasting my time with it.

It's closer to charity event than serious tournament - particularly when you have 1 set matches! If it's going to be a charity hit and giggle, at least promote it as that - not some top notch tournament (doesn't even have any decent current players, who are understandably either in Hobart, Kooyong or Sydney).

They'd be better of developing it into a Hopman Cup style competition or at least getting the seniors circuit to come to Adelaide, but WTC as it is must end because it's an embarrassment to this state.

WALL-e, very impressive! Williamson's The Club, no less.
:D

On a totally unrelated note.....shit just got real!

Maybe I'll just start talking as if nothings actually happening.....

Anyway guys...girls....riggy's...

I finally got my speedball set up on my boxing station and have now set the bar at 209 hits per minute.

Basketball starts back up Sunday.....

....is anyone listening to me, or is there something else going on that's much more curious.

It never ceases to amaze me how small Adelaide is.

Today I met two people and one was from my suburb, which is generally unheard of, and the other is from the same small town as my cousin's boyfriend.

To add to that I saw Ken McGregor outside the Supreme Court, working I guess, a few Crows players at the cricket, not to mention Greg Gallman who sat in front of me with a mate, and Johnny Platten crossing Hutt St.
Not that you saw him at the game but Kenny must be a big Redbacks fan, I always seem him at the games. :thumbsu:

Just bring on the Australian Open
ill be watching all the lower rated matches on Fox Sports.
I dont like the bigger matches unless there's nothing else left
I prefer watching the young kids and no bodies showing what they have and pulling off the upsets.

Loved watching that Stoser run of a few years back in the early stages :thumbsu:
and the Bagdatis run, and that frenchman a few years back too (Monfies before he came good ?)

Plus there are only 3 people in the top 25 that I actually like (Djokovic, Nadal and Hewitt in that order), at least in the lower matches I get behind both instead of cheering against the established star (I love udnerdogs)
Gotta say, great taste. :thumbsu: They're my 3 favourite players too.

Looks like you know a bit about tennis. Sucks that Foxtel aren't showing the tennis this year, thankfully I'll be in Melbourne for the first week so don't have to endure Channel 7's awful coverage.

As for the World Team Challenge, I wasn't going to give this exhibition a chance but I watched a bit last night and it was decent, better than I expected. In saying that, I'd MUCH prefer to have the Adelaide ATP event back, I miss it. :(

Can't wait for Monday.

not really
I just know enough to get bye
I only really get into it when the Australian Open is on
and follow the grand slams as well

will also check wikipedia time to time to check how 4 people are going (Djokovic, Nadal, Hewitt and Stoser). I just want to see what Laura Robson has, that traitor  We raise her, and she pisses off to the UK :thumbsdown:

Finally upgrading our Foxtel at home to IQ, and expanding our downloads from 12GB to 25GB a month.:) At a cheaper price on the deal we are on with Telstra atm (Not as if that bit affects me personally as parents pay, but still good).:thumbsu:

Just brought Pokemon out for its 2nd time in about 8 years (I did pull it out 2 years ago when a Pokemon craze came back through my school)

Started with Squirtle

now time to catch some Rattata and Pidgey :p

If a game can challenge you on a mature level, it's worthy of being played by an older person. Now I'll admit, I haven't played Pokemon in many years, but it is one of the more complex games ever created, offering legitimate challenge and room to develop strategies. Barbie dolls are hardly an appropriate comparison. There are still pokemon tournaments held where people who've spent ages meticulously trying to develop strong teams compete to win large sums of money. Not my cup of tea but if the game was aimed squarely at kids as you imply, that sort of stuff wouldn't be happening.

It's the same as refusing to watch animated films because they're animated.
