Probably not, sorry assumed you meant their FB page which is public domain
Ok
Just some general stuff.

We are ahead in the major target areas from when we were originally formed, sponsors, members and crowds.

Players galvansed when they hear people call us plastic etc

Giants deep into discussions with RAS about improvements and expansion of Spotless.

Victorian sports media complaining about how the Storm are being reported on.

I kid you not.

The hypocrisy is astounding.

Yeah, saw a couple of tweets from John Ralph, retweeted by Julian De Stoop about how the commentary team was flat as a tack whenever Melbourne did anything good and how Phil Gould couldn’t bring himself to say anything nice about them.

My first thought was, how about you have a word to BT and Bruce and Basil and Ed and all your mob south of the border, and maybe get them to acknowledge some good play by our boys at some point during the season.

Could not get any flatter when we kicked a goal.

I havre been wondering how Harry Perryman will go next year. Might there be a spot forward for the Pez, a la the Tigers model lock-down forward?

I've wondered the same thing. Particularly with Kennedy and Bunts available next year. Sam Reid and Daniel Lloyd wont like the idea though.

Anyone know how to edit Wikipedia?

does clicking on the edit feature not work? I can go into a wiki page and click on edit which will bring up a HTML format. That's all it should take then you can save the edits.

I think what does happen (AFAIK) the author is notified of the changes/edit and can revert back to the previous version

It did, however, it isn't as easy as quoting a Big Footy Post (which is about the limit of my skills I'm afraid)

TBH that's as bout as far as Ive gone with wiki

Doesn't surprise me. Giants getting stronger on field as a club, attracting more people through the gates. NRL losing the plot a bit in regards to getting fans to grounds.

Frequency of games wouldn't have been considered in that data. NRL has many more games at ANZ than we do at Spotless.

Should overtake next year for sure. Then when Parramatta move back to their own stadium, numbers may fall even more for NRL (one less team at ANZ).

Time to heal the open wounds of lost prelim finals.
No, I'm not talking about the Bulldogs loss in 2016. That wound will never heal.

So, on the AFL website, I looked at the Latest Photos section, Tigers vs Giants.

There are 300 odd photos and so many show a recurrent theme. Tigers players, straining at the edge of endurance, their faces contorted with effort, scragging and hassling down the Giants. Hands and arms over shoulders, slightly late shots, anything to put the Giants off. Which worked. Greene with no space or time, ditto Shiel, Williams, others.

And photos of Cotchin, free to play the week after, are there also. Dog.

If the Giants want to advance this year, Leon has to get the game style right. Either lightning quick hands to beat the tackle, with hyper intuitive positioning forward of the play, or scragging tackles like the Tigers.

It's for that reason, game style rather than talent, that I think the upcoming draft is the least important draft for the Giants so far. We don't really need more talent. We already have the cattle. What we need now is the game.

Love Uncle Toby’s work
:D:D:D:D

With the GIANTS’ first pick coming at number 11 in Friday night’s NAB AFL Draft, the only other GIANT selected with pick 11 - Toby Greene - has shared some words of wisdom that will help one of our newest GIANTS settle into life as an AFL footballer.

1. Be ready for pre-season! It was definitely an eye opener for me in the early weeks. I barley had the energy to stay awake past dinner in my first few weeks at the GIANTS. Your first pre-season will be the toughest one.

2. Take note of how Aidan “Apples” Corr and Josh “Chook” Kelly talk to Head Coach Leon Cameron. Pay close attention and learn from this as it will help you get a game next year.

3. Learn how to put sheets on your bed before you leave home. This was one of my biggest challenges when I moved away from home. It was something I had never really considered before I made the move. Have a chat to mum or dad, I’m sure they’ll have a few tips.

4. Listen to the club dietitian and learn how to cook. If you want a cracking rig and to impress on the track you have to listen to Jess Spendlove our dietitian. She’ll give you some pointers on what’s good for you and will teach you some great recipes.

5. Failing that, just go to Satrialie’s Sandwich Deli and tell them Toby sent you. They’ll look after you.

6. There’s a guy who wears the number four jumper at the club. Carry his boots and buy him a coffee when he asks and you’ll get along with him just fine.

7. Enjoy draft night. You might not be on the stage in the top ten picks but it’s recognition for all the hard work you put in during junior footy. It’s also a great night for your family and friends who no doubt helped massively during your footy journey.

8. Get to know the latest Ikea catalogue and work on your Allen Key skills. If you’re moving in with teammates or settling in at Breakfast Point, one of the first things you’ll do is put your bedroom furniture together.

9. Force yourself to get out and about. Sydney’s not the most glamourous city in Australia for no reason. And soak up what Canberra has to offer too. There’s good reason why Lonely Planet ranked it as the third best city in the world.

10. Do something outside of football. While your life is packed with playing and training for football it’s important to have interests outside of the game. Studying or taking courses are a great way to meet people and also prepare yourself for life after footy.

11. Need help with something academic? Ask Phil Davis and Matt de Boer a question and see who answers it first. The winner will be your go to guy for the next ten years whenever you need an academic problem solved.

Hasn't the Main Board become a sewer the last couple of week's. It's natural it relaxes in off season but it seems the mods have vacated the field entirely. Not sure it will work, generating posts from a few trolls will put a lot of other people off, and maybe permanently.

Have you reported troll posts and not seen a response?
