I remember Mark Taylor being interviewed a while back reflecting on his encounter with a group of 10 year olds who said to him "Are you the guy from the Fujitsu ads?"
 
The news just said snow forecast for the mountains in the morning so Lithgow is probably a good chance

On a completely different note, I'm trying to work out the most annoying ad in the Tour de France coverage.

Is it the NAB ad with the couple and the otherwise irrelevant answer "a ship in the harbour is safe, but it's not what ships are built for."

Or is it the Alpecin caffeine extract shampoo - not just because the cyclists love thick hair but why do you put caffeine in shampoo in the first place?!?!

Then a quick flick to the Ashes and the Giants' fan gets a wicket! Go Mitch!

How ruthless are Hawthorn...

My one criticism of our lads is we have yet to really bury a team even when we are on top. When we are up by 60 we often end up winning by 25, when Hawthorn are up by 60 they end up winning by 120!

They are a ruthless, calculated, cold blooded murderer of a team. We need to strive to be the same.

We will get there i think
We are still young and not used to winning so get a bit excited when we find ourselves in front.
The ruthless aggression will come. And when it does....... Boom.

Nah just not getting a game. KJ is still light and inconsistent, Whiley is too slow for AFL level. O'Rourke played the best game I've seen from him tonight, showed clean hands and a bit of a spark. Was in a handy team though!

Head officially done in.

Under 9s - we had 2 more players than them so we gave them one of ours to even the numbers. One of ours went down at half time so in the second half we ran an interchange, swapping players every couple of minutes.

Their manager wanders over to ours about halfway through the quarter "I've had a complaint from one of the parents - you're not using the interchange gate correctly. The player has to come off through the gate"

Being only an under 9s 3/4 size field, the ground was marked out in cones, it was only then that I noticed a couple of extra cones near the middle, that I supposed must have been the gate.

Later in the fourth quarter when the play was way over the other side and down the other end we sent our interchange player on to get the other player off (because yelling at him hadn't attracted his attention) - and this time the parent herself came over and had a go at our manager for the incorrect interchange. "The player must come off first - and through the interchange gate!"

Under 9s - what are they going to do? Strip us of all our points? FFS - under 9s and they're going on about incorrect use of the f####ing interchange gates.
