Always wondered, is GWS winning over people who did not follow the AFL before, is it growing in western sydney ? Cheers

Looking purely at home games at Spotless, the averages have increased every year since inception.

2012 = 8117
2013 = 8281
2014 = 9609
2015 = 9824

and the 2015 figure is before the Swans home game, so the average should be easily above 10k this year.

Interestingly, the WSW, where the perception has been Western Sydney is in raptures is about, averaged 12390 last season, so were actually not too far behind them crowd wise.

That 12k included 2 sold out derbies against the skyblues to.

The way they showed the three incidents, and then linked them back to behavior corrected in 2008 didn't put him in a very good light.
Hopefully it's gone now.

My random thought, and it is indeed random.

I miss watching GWS play. Whether that's at the ground or on TV. My family and I aren't members, i don't have enough money to spend on a membership every year as I'm a uni student and only get so many shifts a week. But I'm always working on days that the boys play. It's getting quite annoying. I'm looking at getting tickets to the next Battle for the Bridge, but other than that, the last time I saw them play was Rd 3 :(

I usually miss every second game being a shift worker. Not to mention I have never seen gws in person. Joys of loving in the pilbara

Foxtel go has saved me allot during my shift working. Unfortunetly with more and more of my work over the lithgow side of the mountains means terrible coverage

Havnt got foxtel as it would cost over a grand to get it installed where I live :(

Ouch. Living on kangaroo island?
One of my greatest accomplishments was getting the mrs to agree to get the sports package

Should've filled an AFL Fantasy league. Got me a free live pass for the season to use on phone/iPad.

Edit: Signing up for the last two months should only cost you about $30 and will get you all games for the week.

I miss that many live games that I'm used to it haha. Also I spoil myself with the score so makes watching it less magical

I think sports betting advertisements are getting way out of hand when your 8 year old;

1) sees an ad for a Samuel L Jackson movie and says "He's the guy from Bet 365"; and
2) at his game on the weekend says "I wonder how many people would have bet on (teammate) kicking the first goal today.

Grrrrrrrr
