Got a few I just thought of........
Anyone notice the scoreboard in the game against Collingwood when they score their first point?
COLL 0.99.99 NMELB 1.0.6
By the time I dug my phone out of my pocket to take a pic it read:
COLL 0.98.98 NMELB 1.0.6
Bugger of a thing was correct by the time I managed to get my phone to the camera.
Last weekend...
Crowley had been bugging Boomer the whole first half (when he could catch him). So when the second half was about to get underway and Harvey is trying to do up his bootlace, did anyone notice the outrageous actions of Crowley in continually bumping him as he bent down. My god, how dare he?? I'm sure if Boomer had leapt up and got the prick in a headlock to the point of him being unable to breathe and needing other players to get him off, the MRP surely would've PRAISED Harvey on his RESTRAINT in not just pummelling the shit out of shit instead? The precedent has been set, as we all know.....
I'm not sure who it was but in the third when Harvey wheeled around towards goal around CHF spot, some Docker shithead lashed out with the boot as he fell to the ground. Attempted tripping is still reportable isn't it? I would've check the replay but FoxFooty seemed to have a hard-on for replaying the Coll-Ess match all bloody night.
Finally, I have no love for Heppell whatsoever. My half-Essendon family love pointing out the number of possesions he gets, to which I point out how the brave soul always seems magically way out on his own getting them from teammates who all do the hard work in the packs - and we all know how hard he runs when he knows when a man-mountain like Thomas is bearing down on him.
So his effort against the Pies, when the ball was there to be won, where he saw what was coming, shat himself and literally pulled up with short steps, screamed to me to be the efforts of a typical squib which caused a goal to the opposition from the bit of play here. (This resulted in a throw-in I think which the Pies took directly down for a goal).
Am I being too hard on him? This caused an almightly blue in our house about whether he "bravely rode the bump" or "squibbed it and cost his team who were heading towards goal".
