Been out of the country so not sure whether it’s massive news in Australia or not, but this cave rescue in Thailand has been everywhere here in Bali and the updates I’m hearing are scary as ****. Hope all involved survive their attempts to escape as any other outcome would be absolutely horrible. Thoughts are with them all and their families.

Yep. At the same time though, for a lot of people footy is a good chance to take their mind off things and pour their emotional energy into the team rather than let it out in other ways. I know in my work, I deal with some pretty awful situations where you would kill to step in and help a kid out of their situation, but reality is there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. Yelling at the tv or calling the umpire a maggot takes my mind off that for a bit.
Fair enough. Not a fan of personal attacks or bitchiness either. As I say to my colleagues, I'm here for the kids and to teach them, not interested in peoples personal gripes.

I could never really dislike you Kingy... We're both LeBron fans now afterall.
Seriously though, agree. There are things in life that are much more important than a football game or winning an argument in an online forum. But I guess the footy (& forums like BF) brings like-minded people together. It brings a sense of community & a place to escape the "real life" for a bit.

Yep. MTS did a pretty good job of the TTT. Incredible the amount of booing Froome is coping. Don't be surprised if someone pushes him off the bike at some stage. Looks like BMC may claw some seconds on Sky.

Great final few seconds there. Quickstep made it a cracking finish.
Some really strong TTT teams this year. That's the closest finish for the top 4-5 teams that I can remember for a while. Still think it's advantage Sky at the moment unfortunately, but a few of the GC contenders that are down on time further than Porte and Yates will likely light things up. Cobbles will be fascinating too.
Yeah. From around my area Steele Von Hoff was fairly prominent and you could often (I was going to say pass him) be passed by him on a Saturday morning ride. Friendly bloke too.
