Why not wood as all other alternatives are expensiveDoes anyone have Composite or aluminium decking outside? I don't want wood but can't find anything close to a non-partisan review on either of these.
#helptickydesignherpergolaarea
Wouldn't you have the tradesman do thatI don't have the skill or time to keep looking after wood.
Tik Tok influencers are like mayflies
Had a group of them put their jackets on the air runner treadmill at the gym yesterday, why?
Because they wanted to reserve it to record content.
When I moved their jacket to the machine next to it they ran straight up to complain, I just told them no reserving machines.

Great bandAny Wozzies go to the free Hoodoo Gurus gig in Freo yesterday? They were so bloody good I had to spend $25 on merchandise I'll never wear because I didn't deserve to see a band that good for free LOL
Oh mate. That's just the beginning. But yeah, depending on the kids, Year 5/6 girls can be ****ing horrendous.Coaching a grade 5/6 girls social basketball team.
Makes you appreciate your own kid.
One girl is kicking the basketball away and going to chase it non stop because she thinks we should be shooting shots.
Then pair two kids up --- oh yuck i hate her she's weird .
Yeah she's a bitch no one likes her.
Then just general instruction, run 2 laps as a team around the outside of the court-
What's the outside of the court, what do you mean as a team.
Get into pairs , oh can we play a game now, i'm tired, what time is it
Just wanted to throw the ball at some heads
Oh mate. That's just the beginning. But yeah, depending on the kids, Year 5/6 girls can be ******* horrendous.
The sad thing is, for every kid that is outwardly horrendous like that, you have another 4 that are doing similar behind their back that unless you are awake to it, get away with it. Most of the time, the nastiness will be coming from an insecurity that arseh*le kid has. They are jealous.Yep eye opening , just so casual about calling some poor kid a bitch while she is there and can hear. The kid being called names had been nothing but polite and quiet too, felt awful for her.

I taught a girl a few years back now that absolutely copped it from a few different angles. Was a lovely swannies supporter too.
- One kid went her because she had parents that turned up to school events because they made it a priority, the other kid came from a home where the parents thought of the kids as accessories.
- A couple of other kids went her because they hated how driven she was. Didn't matter if she couldn't do something and was told she'd never make it, she worked ******* hard and did it anyway. This kid went from 6 months behind in maths when i started with her to 12 months ahead 4 years later. The kids that attacked her were bright but went to water the minute they faced a challenge.
- Another kid hated the fact that she was liked across all the different sub-groups and didn't understand why she wasn't liked by the different groups.
- The funniest thing was, so many of the quieter kids admired this girl because she was just a decent human being and she had no idea how popular she actually was. It got to a point in Year 6 where she joined in the *heads group to "fit in" and not be bullied. Thankfully, just before graduation she recognised the path it was taking her down and pulled her head in.
She's gone on to have success in junior girls footy, netball and school sports while those that told her she was no good haven't achieved much at all.

Addressing with them can work.... sometimes. Will depend on the parents as to whether you then become the evil one for suggesting that their child is not perfect. From the teachers point of view, the kids of parents that try to teach their kids to be good human beings are 95% successful in doing so. The 5% that don't have underlying conditions that are out of the control of the parents.Glad she's had success.
Must be frustrating, just want to say cmon enough other factors in life are against you,
don't chop each other down. Work together.
I just hope my own kids avoid it as much as possible.
As an aside I may be rethinking my zone defence and other strategies
I have a brother who is 15 years younger , coached his team like 15 years ago, much easier experience because I didn't care![]()
Get confirmation on Monday.
But believe I may of been selected for a fencing Grand Prix event in December.
This is a full professional sporting event, large crowds (equivalent of a Grand slam, just fencing not tennis).
Now got to fundraise and save enough to go to France in December...
Just wave your rapier in people's faces until they hand over their wallets/purses.
