Finished 216th out of 240 in the Individual world cup today.

Avoided last place, scared a few people and got a few great points.

Got a few points on the world number 17 which was cool.

Well done mate. What's the next stop competition wise?

Representing Australia in teams tomorrow.

Then Grand Prix in Korea in May (essentially there are the equivalent of 4 grand slams in fencing (France, Italy, Korea and one at random (This year Georgia)).

Grand Prix events give you more ranking points for individuals, but they have no team events.

just got a call from my daughters school she was bullied today won't go into it.

just excuse me wanted to vent somewhere where it's not that public (my daughter is on facebook etc)

and just say it is so frustrating and difficult , not like I can protect her forever , school is great and punished the other person, but it still is abuse she copped.

Just feel powerless when it's that sort of thing

thanks for indulging my first world problem

Well done! Actually being there and giving it your best is just fantastic. No doubt you've learned a lot by watching the rest up close and personal.

Kids can be arseholes. Hope she's got some mates who can help her out.

Yeah it sucks mate. I'm glad the school has followed through. Kids can be bloody awful and it can be so hard to manage the behaviours as a school. Often the parents of the bully fail to work with the school to communicate the expectations and messages, working against the school despite our attempts to develop them in a way that results in a more positive life outcome for their kid.

the teachers were excellent

they went to talk to the kid and they had snuck off home before lunch

these are grade 8s so can't just leave

What do you think is the cause of my nausea this morning?

1. Low sugar count
2. A dead rat found
3. Fox Footy’s lovefest for Carlton
4. All of the above

And PS, what’s your favourite dinosaur Ed_Gein and robbieando?
