Has anyone had their heart skipped a beat that it made your body jolt and woke you up? Happened to me 2 nights ago. A friend said it could be sleep apnea, but getting a machine would cost a fortune. Quite scary

You need to get it checked out.

A friend recently had something similar and she ended up getting a defibrillator implanted.
If the defibrillator hadn't been fitted, there was a significant chance she could have ended up drinking mead,as it was literally her heart stopping multiple times a night (of which she was totally unaware,the only 'obvious' sign other than the jolt being tiredness upon waking).

May be that, may be sleep apnoea, may be something else entirely, such as you body rebelling against death metal music, but a visit to the Doc is probably a good idea.

I know I snore at times, so I’m fairly certain it’s sleep apnea. Will have to do some research to see if there’s any payment plans for a machine after seeing the GP about getting tested

The bruise on my arm has cleared up though in some good news. Thought I had a hairline fracture. One less thing to worry about

Got some sad news tonight with a lad who played juniors at my footy club and played a few games of cricket with , passing away after an accident . He was a team mate of Cal Sinclair and South Swans who used to be prolific on here and now a celebrity.
Only 35 , really sad
Life is really too short
