Last night i lost one of my greatest friends growing up , Dennis and i were in the cheer squad together and we made the banners in those days went around around the fences behind the goals etc . Every Friday night we would be in the rooms making the race for the players to run through and our biggest was the 1970 1st semi , what a thrill to be out on the ground that day at the G. Every weekend growing up was following South and in the summer playing cricket in 2 premierships together .
