Idk why you're sticking your neck out for Italy of all teams tho 🤷 They were a football powerhouse decades ago. Missing 3 world cups in a row now, they're just not that good. Speak to any Italian, they'll say it. Sort of like Australia's decline in Rugby.

And especially considering the Socceroos history with them. They've been riddled by corruption and mismanagement since 2006. Calciopoli happened at that time. And they fluked that Euro 2021 win, as much as I enjoyed seeing the Poms get beat in the final.

They should. If they don't win it this year it'll be a huge failure. If they don't win, the melts on AFTV will be stuff of legend which could eclipse the late Wenger era stuff.

A saving grace for them and us is Pep may walk at the end of this season.

Everton, but not seriously. Largely due to Tim Cahill.

Used to watch games at all hours when Foxtel had the rights. These days it's match highlights and looking up transfer news/results.

That's fair enough. My best mate from school goes for them too, at the same time Cahill played for them. Our FIFA Merseyside derbies were legendary 🤣 Farking Yakubu then Lukaku always got in behind and scored.

I got respect for you guys as a club and people tho, with the unwavering support on Hillsborough. Can't say that about the Mancs or Chelsea. Except when derby week rolls around, then it's war!
