Had a mates wedding on Friday and his best man died last night, we were celebrating 3 teams in to the GF when we heard. Still don't know how or why. The bride and groom arrived in Bali Saturday night and now are coming back.

Jeez, some sadness around here lately.

But it's a good place to share...

I'm driving to Adelaide tomorrow (1400km round trip) for the funeral of a colleague who took his own life last week. Will be good to remember him and say goodbye.

Just read the past page or two & it sound like you guys (bedford The King! MaxMinch) have just had a horrible week. I hope you all are able to find some time for yourselves.

From my interactions with each of you I believe you are all good people who don't deserve such bad luck (unfortunately life isn't fair though).

Please don't hesitate to post your thoughts or pm me if it helps. It's not unwelcome or annoying or anything. If it helps then I'm sure the board & people like me are here for you guys.

You are a thoughtful poster. Ill be ok. I just share it in here as a nice place to blow off steam, but im more concerned about the family. Both sons now dead at 18 and now the second at 20, been sick most of their teens, not fair

It's shit mate. My friends anniversary for the rest of their lives will be affected by this, for only for the first few years hopefully.

Then (not to offend people who believe but ..) you get religous nobs at your door around the same time selling their bullshit... im like hey if this prick exists explain why 2 great young men just died and suffered so much and my nephew died of cancer etc, ohh its part of a plan..heck off]

Hope everyone who's been affected with recent events takes care and hopefully the best will be coming ahead. Times of grievance and sorrow are hard.

Couldn't have said it better myself mate. Went through some tough times mentally and emotionally a few years back and sometimes venting, yelling screaming and crying was what I needed at the time. Luckily the olds love me and listened to my shit! Happy to do that favour for others should it be needed.

Dunno! I took that photo on the side of the road while waiting for a tow truck after someone crashed. They're just very expressive.
 
Maybe I should change mine, I haven't since we all adopted Adam Goodes avatars for a week to support him in 2015. Still feel like I should honour the great man in some way.
