It's just most people complain & look at ways of getting out of it. But I sort of take it really seriously and the responsibility is too important.

Oh it is super important imo. We did a bunch of looking into it during Legal Studies at high school

I got out of it because we plunged into our second lockdown a few weeks before I was due.

Wouldn't have been a problem if they built proper quarantine and released the vaccine

Without trying to get into the politics of it, it really is facinating how NSW handles these things differently. I wonder if its better tracing, people less likely to move around, willingness to wait it out long, luck or a small combination of them all

Like I’ve said before all politicians are largely inept

and let’s face it the unelected officials federally and at a state level drive it heavily

But it is interesting the different approaches

and really the lack of unity
We are so separate when the shit hits the fan is what covid has highlighted

Faith in systems and competence in systems I think it comes down too

bedders makes a good point but also seems to me as soon as there’s any trouble the vic officials have no faith in their ability to trace and track or contain anything

Luck, but she allowed the xmas break out in to Melbourne . Greater Sydney should have been locked down for a week pre Xmas , then it wouldn't have spread to Melbourne.
