Richard Freedman on TripleM’s deadset legends scoffing at the suggestion 5000 might invade yesty’s game if Buddy gets 5… “Will they get 5000 there?”
In case anybody missed it, yesterday was the biggest day in Sydney’s Horse Racing calendar, and much like the statistic on how many horses were euthanised in the process of providing a spectacle for people to gamble on at that event, no crowd figure is available.
F****** turd!

Horse racing could go ahead without the horses , 90% go to get pissed and do all the other stuff

Need to vent.

Finished 20th in my national competition today.

Lost 14-15 to a competitor who is vastly younger, higher ranked and going to have a huge future in the sport, overall I did great against him (just missed a huge opportunity at 14-14 (similar to missing from 25 out straight in front after the siren)).

The result means I miss Commonwealth's.

It is also my 5th competition where I have lost 13-15 or 14-15 in a row, to someone who finishes in the top 2.

I have dropped my weight from over 80 to 66.

I have trained harder than ever, spat up blood, dieted, not gone out and lived my life for ages in order to chase this.

And yet again it isn't good enough

Hard work doesn't get it done for you, you have to be born tall and talented these days.

I know you don't want to hear it right now, but you are in the top 20 people in the whole country of your chosen event. That's a ****ing incredible achievement in my eyes and something most people will never experience in their life. I hope when the disappointment fades, you are able to celebrate your achievement, before reloading and getting ready for the next crack at it.
