Bate will be a star. Sounds silly but he does look like a young Pavlich running around the midfield. Well not looks like literally he has a head like a busted A-hole.
Brock is a bulldoser in a footy jumper.
Young Bell is back. My mate says "who's 21" my instant reply Steve Febey no wait Belly is back!

Carrol and Rivers are worth their weight in gold. I mean 2 decent tall backs at once at Melbourne!

Robbo providing a target on one leg, White running around like its 2000 again, Yze the same.
Davey doing what he does best, Byron making you think hey shepherding thats what we havent been doing these last few years, wow that works!

Cats fans don't like you saying to "Didn't our 22 play for you guys a while ago????

Last of all how damn good is Chapman? I'm sure if he wasn't a bald nuggety guy at Geelong he would be anointed a superstar by now. Gun.

Needed to edit.. Forgot to mention Bruce is ripping off a young James Hird something shocking this season, incredible or their was one of him in the middle and one up forward.

Also can we make Green captain every week he ent harder than ever before, surely one of his best even if the stats don't show it. (I haven't looked at stats???)

Green only had the 21 possesions but easily his hardest at the ball performance hes ever had. All of the leaders stood up today, Green, Bruce, Robbo, Yze and White all stood up in that last bit which was great to see.

Also, how much do we love Pickett?

yeah poor Bartram needs a run in the VFL. It can't be good for his confidence being towelled up by these guys and not even gettin 10 touches himself. Great to see him tackling still though.

Bartram is an absolute gun tackler but you are probably right, a rest at Sandy could be nice for him. FWIW, he did shut Chapman down a bit after quarter time and a couple of his goals were pure fluke and not Bartrams fault.

Unlike Godfrey.

drop Godfrey before Bartram definately. Maybe give Jones a run if he plays well at Sandy this weekend. Or perhaps that is enough debutants for now?

Probably on the money there... Godfrey is crusified by the umpires sometimes just like pickett. Unfortunate but Dunn may have to make room for miller

If they drop Bartram and leave Godders, I will spew.

Godfrey is a tagger, can't dispose of the ball, has no footy brain and limited pace. He is simply a crap AFL player and will never get better.
Bartram copped a towelling last night, but in his 6th AFL game, we gotta cut him some slack. I thought the fact that he had to play in the backline and tag was not helping his cause.

Bartram is the future, Godders is simply terrible.

moloney needed a game against his old club to get back into form.. really picked up in the middle of game game and palyed a good game..

my fabourite, brock, had an awesome game. is having a great 3rd season and is really bursting onto the scene this yr. i knew hed relish the wet but i didnt think he'd be this good.

i got home in time to watch the last 12min again! but THE highlight was...

"I'm Mathew Bate, and this is MY friday night"
wow this guy is the next cult figure at melbourne!!!
