your not going to like what I have to say but been there done that.

I'm assuming of course you were not doing this at her sisters wedding, her grandmothers funereal or the birth of your first child.

If it was none of these explain it to her, If she doesn't like it you need to consider giving her the heave ho.

Most of us arrived on this board because sport is a big part of our lives. A woman who is going to whinge because your checking the tennis scores every half an hour at your age is only going to worse. Imagine what will happen when off to the footy.

She's taking ownership of you and if you two continue your only going to resent her stopping you looking at the sport or she will get tiresome of you checking the scores. And it will escalate.

There are of course times to ignore the tennis score, like if you've gone out for a romantic dinner or the movies, but in general it's what we do.

Stat if it's a ridicules reason now and you cave in, she will put on you again and again.

You need to say to her this is who I am. Don't like it, we'll we've had fun but now we now were not meant for each other, we'll go our separate ways.

I need to whinge a little too. Working 8-6 Monday to Friday not including extra work with invoicing & supplier managing at home after. Legit heading to bed at 9:30 with no time for anything else. Not complaining too much because it's good experience seeing how to be a successful entrepreneur. Also serve some cute guys. You should all come visit my cafe! I will pour coffee on you. But it's campos coffee so it's a win win.

Pretty much about to have that phone call with her, except I'm just gonna say it's not worth the effort of going through these fights again and again when the footy starts. It's not like I sat in there watching the whole match, and as you guys - especially strauchnie ;) - know, I'm a huge Tomic fan, so for me to be prepared to just duck in to check the score every now and then is huge - it'd be like being prepared to only check the score in a Swans finals match. We were friends first, and she seems happy to go back to just being friends, but I need to actually have the conversation.
 
Guys - if I was to give as part of a birthday present (the other being cologne) of a painting of a beach we go to all the time at night - inc first date, so often it's become like a 'thing' now, would you think that's too much? I received a present that was tailor-made for me so I wanted to return the favour & not go overboard in the $ department.

After a massive fight with an ex gf several years ago we didn't see each other for 15 months. Until we were forced to meet at a public bbq at a party. She texted me the day of the bbq and said she had something series to talk about with me...

When she came to talk to me she was holding a sixth month old child... I was ashen... cheeky bitch, it wasn't hers but her friends and she had deliberately put the fear of god into me....

I must thank you Cas for helping me realise what a horrible person I am...

Was checking finals scores at my own sisters wedding last year...
Was checking scores of a Swan's game at my grandfathers funeral...
Have been checking tennis scores when out to dinner with my girlfriend over the last three weeks....
And regularly check sports scores when out at cinema's or with mates...

Admittedly I think my obsession with sport is becoming a bit of a problem...

The first thing I do when I wake up is check up transfer news with Liverpool and check if there is any breaking news in other sports,
Lunch brakes at work are dedicated to browsing the web reading sports news... Or watching sport if its on in the cafeteria...
Right now... Am an Sydney Swan's Member, Australian Open Member, Melbourne Victory Member, Victorian Bushranger member...

Although it hasn't driven the girlfriend completely insane yet...

The awkward moment when a chick sends you a "private" picture. Though was supposed to go to her boyfriend of the same name. Lets just say it's always a suprise.

Also got my ink started yesterday, 7hrs in a chair was well worth it. And only partially through.
 
Mexican sugar skull, i haven't actually got the design picture. The photo its referenced from is actually of a model with the paint etc, the end product will look great. So far the face is outlined, eyes done and some shading. Needs hair face paint completed and some more finished. It's a half sleeve on my bicep, bloody sore today.
