Each to their own guys, our year was super tight knit, my favorite teacher giving me a gigantic bear hug made me cry like crazy.

As was mine. Especially in the last month of the year when the Trials are over and you suddenly come together like never before, it's an amazing feeling. Be that as it may, after school finishes you kind of just get on with life. If there are people you still wanna see, you still see them, and the people you don't wanna see, you don't see.

Life gets in the way. You get busy, they get busy.

I have amazing friends from HS (almost the whole year were very tight knit) and I have great friends from Uni. After school you really, really reallyyyyy have to make an effort to keep in contact with people because it's so easy to lose touch with each other.

I thought I wouldn't lose touch with some people that I have lost touch with. It sucks, but that's the way it is.

To illustrate the point being made by many, I had my 21st last night with about 60 mates at my place. The majority of people there were friends from school. There were people from uni and wherever else as well but the mates I made at school are still my closest.

All in all, you keep in contact with those you want to keep in contact with. It's not as easy as when it's at school as you see them every day but you learn to make sure you speak to and see all those important to you after school is done.

Yeah, I'm finding it especially tough as a few of my closest mates are studying interstate, and I had a Gap Year last year.

Weather is shitty and cold and goodbye plans of soaking up the sun whilst studying.
