I missed the Lyon drama last night so have been reading up on it this morning. I'm shocked. At least I won't have to hate him now he's left the scum. He'll do great things with Freo's list.
I was so excited I woke up early this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. Surprised I didn't wet the bed.
I've told the boss that I'm leaving early today as I have an appointment at the MCG.

I agree, I reckon Lyon will do great things with Freo. Can't believe people are still crapping on about Lyon playing boring footy. Who gives a shit if it gets to a GF (where they've never been before) or win a flag? A bit of mental toughness that Lyon instilled in the Saints during his time will do wonders for the Dockers.

Is your flight during the game?
I know qantas have a in flight radio channel that covers the football, not sure about other airlines.
It's an Air New Zealand flight, leaves at 6.30 gets in around 10 Sydney time. I would pay ludicrous money if they can provide me with radio or tv coverage of the game. Like, silly money.
A mate of mine just called and said Lyon has to be one of the great dogs of all time. The pres said last week what a man of integrity Ross is-- Saints Footy = failure, now that mantle will flow on to Freo.

Have to disagree with you, I think that Lyon was the best thing that happened to the Saints in a long time. He brought them a hardness that they had lacked when they made preliminary finals in 2004 and 2005, and you can't deny that he had the game plan to win the premiership, because it was the same game plan that we had. It's the players that didn't execute it in the grand finals... they should have beaten Geelong in 2009 and they had too many passengers in 2010. I think he had just had enough of the Saints and their crap culture, after all the off-season drama.
Have to disagree with you he is a low dog with no morals, anyhow off to the home of footy now

I think Lyon will be amazing from Freo. 
But I have a feeling we will be playing them in a final next year, probably 5th against 8th. Or better yet, in a home semi final.
