NYE is inevitably a shit night out. Every bloody year.

Most overrated night of the year. Learnt to just have BBQ's, backyard cricket, bonfire etc. at mates houses. Public places equals overcrowded and shit.

i stayed in on my couch whilst i was a little sad at midnight coz i didnt have anyone to say happy new year to i was happily in bed no hang over then down the beach for a surf then lunch with my best friend and a glass of champers today PERFECT

but def house parties with a few people are the best

The annoying thing is that that was exactly my (and my mates') thinking and we planned to do that. Started the afternoon at a house doing quite literally all of the above and had a great time but then had to go to another house for a party that we all knew would be shit but were obliged to go for numerous reasons. Wish we had stayed at the first place.

I thought I had learned the lesson before but it is clear as day now. It has to be a small event, stay at the same place, no travelling to another place as transport is rubbish and then just BBQ, BYC, swim all day and night.

Had such a good new years! Spent It With the man at his mates house party just like 10 or so of his close friends who I had met on that day.. Bit nerve wracking... rang in the new year with a kiss at midnight. Devo he's back in Camberra for work, hurry up next weekend !

Also bought me a swans singlet from the swanshop for my birthday, thought that was so nice of him when I asked for nothing. Mates got me a swans quilt cover & my bday night was just as good. So much alcohol these few days I haven't sleet properly since the 27th.

I'm so sunburnt.. Freshy had so many tourists today, westies etc should GTFO my crib.
