Masten has reached his ceiling. This is as good as he gets. 2 goals for the entire year and 2.7 inside 50s a game.

Hutchings was in the top 3 best performed for WC in 2 out of 3 finals.

Masten is still yet to show any form of the sort. Coaches favorites are always those who perform in September, what I think will likely happen is Masten gets a free pass by the MC due to 'injury and suspension ' stifling his form when in reality 2016 finals series should we make it, will expose Masten.

I think the whole class of draftees from around Mastens year including Selwood, Swift and Ebert were servicable but liabilities all the same in high pressure low scoring games such as most finals tend to be.

3 finals games actually wrt Hutchings.

For the record I do not believe Masten is a spud, just believe that he is physically suspect under pressure.

Nic Nat was actually fairly servicable in all 3 finals too.

Masten is a role player and in 2016 I believe someone will step up and play that role with more impact per posession, enter Jetta.

Duggan, barring injury will be in the side also, just has natural ball winning and elite disposal, irresistibly well placed to play round 1.

Schofield is a defender. Most of the other defenders actually kicked more goals then Masten. Most other mids did too.

I wouldn't. Sheed is still rather unproven though he has a big future and LeCras is higher production than Jetta over the journey.

Was a monster in the first, beat Goldstein slightly in the second and was good in the ruck in the third (just didn't do anything around the ground and our midfielders squandered his dominance).

Seemed a shadow of himself in the PF and GF must have picked up an injury in the QF or the week earlier.

I think his first person did him wonders but he still isn't at peak fitness. His rucking time lowered the further the season went.

With his mother dying I suspect he just ran out of gas.
