The opening thread says -Rank Our Grand Final Performances -so i will rank the ones ive seen

(1) 1967 -Sensational game -unfortunately we lost -but Richmond were a Super side -with a stack of champion players
(2) 1989 -i reckon this one slipped through the net -i went to the game and i can remember a couple of dumb instances -which cost us crucial goals-in the 1st qtr when we were a bit rattled -Lindner took a mark on the half back line -all he had to do was go back and take his kick -no smart arse Lindner had to half play on -Buckenara swooped -hawthorn goal . And Darcy roughing up Dunstall after Dunstall marked -and giving an unforgiveable 50 metre penalty away -i dont think Blight ever forgave Darcy for that imbecile moment .
(3) 1992 -very dissappointing to lose after the great start -apparrently Blight didnt speak to any of the players for about 6 weeks -he was that dissappointed

(4) Terrible loss -but in fairness North Melb would have copped the same -THE Eagles had a state team -sometimes your better off losing the PF

(5) 1995 -Ive got to say the most Shamefull day in the GFC history -people say they dont want to watch 2008 again -ive watched it plenty of times no problem -but the 1995 game i will never watch ever -how we didnt lose by over 100 points is a miracle

(6) 2007 Cakewalk say no more

(7) 2008 Too Cocky and overconfident otherwise would have won in a Canter

(8) 2009 Very Very fortunate to win -the poor old sainters -god bless em -blew chance after chance

(9) 2011 -The greatest win ever -the most satisfying delightful victory -came from behind -withstood the pressure -and powered away

I'll add one I saw:

1963 - Beat Hawthorn in Rd 18. Beat Hawthorn in the SF. Beat Hawthorn in the GF by more than 8 goals. Buried a dead hawk under KP. Say no more.

Ablett was very disappointed (as were the rest of us) in that 2010 prelim, funnily enough he gets to relive it almost on a weekly basis now.
