rank the 16 teams in order of season 2001........

well i was just reading that post on the afl board and i was shocked at some of the things i read
people were ranking us no higher than 12th (of course i only read the first page but anyhoo) but wat shocked me even more was wat some ppls were saying
someone said we would struggle and then another person said we would finish 16th (i think) because we have a list of 4 good players
well i decided i'd make a list of some of our really good players

thats just a short list no particular order they are just players that i think are some of our best

Docker Babe you forgot Clem Michael. I'm not sure that Carr or Simpson are really good players at this stage but it looks like they have promise.

I'm really not sure how we will go this year. A few weeks ago I would have said that we would win 9-10 games and just miss out on the finals finishing 12th at the lowest.

Now I'm not so sure. I didn't see all of the practice matches but from what I did see I really can't see us going that well. I know we won't finish last but I think we will struggle. We will win a reasonable number of games (probably 7 -8) but unless we improve (mentally) I think we will let too many teams thump us. All to often our skills let us down badly and when the going gets tough the players seem to drop their bundle.

Having said that I'll be there every week rain, hail or shine.

Essendon: awesome side, last year only lost 1 game aginst the bulldogs, expect them to win 19 games this yr.
Brisbane: great tallent in this team, expect them to have a great year.
Carlton: 5 players in there list who have played more than 210 games. top team!
Kangaroos: Best team of the 90s, made the preliminary finals 7 yrs in a row, expect 8.
Geelong: tall, strong side, good tallent of players, expect 13 wins from them.
Sydney: great team, have 13 home games, good run for them this yr.
West.bulldogs: Grant, West, Johnson, Smith, Darcy, brown. Great players, great team.
Hawthorn: tall, strong side, good form, should be a finals contender.
thats my top 8
not interested in the bottom 8.
i dont wanna humiliate us in me picking them to finish low! real low!

i can't believe you people your attitude is so bad if you don't think they will finish higher than 12th you have no faith and should support the eagles
i have faith in the team and i believe that they will be close to a top 8 finish if not
this is there 7th season my 4th season in the cheersquad and i really believe that with the new coaches players and the excellent talent we already had we can make the top 8 this season
but i spose use r alowed to have your opinions i mean i did have a go at ppl for not letting ppl have their own opinion
but still i think u should have more faith in them
that list i made was just a rush job and i do see carr and simpson being great players in the future that is y i listed them

Docker Babe i'm a bit of a pesimist not an otpimist. Fremantle have shown promise before and let us down so I don't get too excited any more.

As for barracking for the Eagles well I couldn't imagine anything worse!! The last team I would barrack for would be them.

Damn it - A friend of mine has organised his 21st the same day as the Freo v Carlton game. Poor form on his part, I guess I'll just wire up my walkman and listen to the game while I drink.

Sorry I can't help with the cheering.I'm quietly confident though, I don't feel that carlton have a very strong squad this year.

yep i am in the cheersquad and i love it the uniforms this year are great nice warm jumpers and we will look great when we r sitting behind the goals there is only one prob we have 44 members and 12 are males the remainder are females so u male freo supporters i beg use to join we need more male supporters to make us louder
