(8) Hawthorn:
Mitchell 9 NS votes, Hodge 10 NS votes, Burgoyne, Smith, Lewis 9 NS votes, Sewell, Hill

Claye will be the Nathan Ablett of the Beams family unless he requests a trade to Collingwood so we can unleash is potential. I think Dayne enjoys playing with A graders in Swan and Pendlebury so i dont see why he would request a trade to Brisbane to play alongside Tom"my touches dont damage, at all"Rockliff and the rest of the C graders over at Brisbane.

Pendlebury, Adams, Greenwood, Varcoe... really struggling to name anyone.

brisbane - gold coast rivalry is pretty much non existent. port and adelaide hate eachothers guts though, everyone knows that

any midfield with the likes of Boak and Gray in it is going to be elite, then you chuck in Wines, Hartlett, Cornes, Ebert, Polec & Wingard and you got an incredibly strong midfield

Although, I agree it isn't as well rounded, crows top end talent is better IMO

Crows' is younger as well, contrary to regular belief.

Smith will be played as a midfielder next year.

Danger on his day can rip an opposition to shreds. Gray is turning 27 and has had 1 good year.
IMO Sloane is better than Boak. Pretty close.
B. Crouch WILL be better than Wines over his career. Bookmark it. He came back from a broken leg and had 40 possies and a goal with nearly no preseason.
Hartlett is better than Douglas
Thompson is 2x the player Cornes is
Ebert is better than Matt crouch. Fast forward 5 years? who knows.
Polec massively over rated. Lyons may be the better over his career IMO

Massively over rating Port, as per usual.
The difference doesn't warrant port 3rd and crows 11th

Turning 27. 1 good year in his entire career.

Beams and Danger are both 24 and already better than Gray.

I thought that was the general consensus around here.

Although he was very good this year you have to take into account things like his age, consistency.

Bottom line is Beams and Danger are younger, and have arguably shown a greater degree of ability and done so over a longer period of time.

I'd take beams and danger over gray to have at my club because of gray's age and injury history... but that doesn't change the fact that Gray's the better player

Gray 36th
Beams 104th

I'm sorry but Danger could very well win a brownlow one day and end his career in the hall of fame.

Robbie Gray is a good player but that's it.
