Anyone that puts the umpires award anywhere bar last place needs to have a rethink.

Why? The question in the OP was what is the most prestigious not what is the more accurate or more worthy.

In all honesty the Coleman is the purest of them, it's based on facts and figures with no human element.

The Norm Smith is voted on by media commentators and ex players. At least they changed the voting time for the better after Buckley won it.

AA is selected by media commentators and ex players, some who haven't been relevant for 30 years and the game has passed them by. Having said that they're generally get it pretty right.

In answer to the OP I would have as follows:

Brownlow easily
Norm Smith
MVP
AA
Coleman
Club B&F (all the others are league wide)

In reality I'd probably have them the same as you:

MVP
Club B&F
Norm Smith
AA
Coleman
Brownlow

The only ones I could be swayed into changing would be the MVP and the Club B&F. People voting in B&Fs know when a player has done their job or sacrificed their own game for the betterment of the team, whereas an outside observer can think a player has just had a poor game.

I'd give the League Coaches award more credence than the Brownlow too.

Coleman (always hyped up during the year)
MVP (a great award, but I don't think it has the prestige of the above 2)
AA (there are always questions about some selections, so cannot be towards the top)
Norm Smith (arguably the best player on the biggest day)
B&F - I couldn't give 2 woots about who wins one of these outside my club - really quite meaningless to me who wins B&F in the wooden spoon team, for example
