Using this weighted points system, this is how it comes out.Spoons are the opposite of flags.
So if a flag is rated as 50 points, then a spoon should be -50 points

I didn't need the above tables to tell me that...Geez Carlton are shite
We were solid if not spectacular 2000-2016, we actually had one of the better H&A records in that time. Since then we have been impressively badSuns should be excluded since they haven't existed 25 years.
Carleton is the easy answer, which is shocking how a team could be worse than the Roos.
The fact Brisbane bottomed out and needed help from the AFL after the crazy Voss days should go against them.
And this board piles on Geelong with the rorting talk, that lot have been getting kick backs for decades.
AFL always need a strong team in QLD to compete with rugby.
Any measure that has Port Adelaide in the top half for success this century, is flawed.Using this weighted points system, this is how it comes out.

and who would you put above them genius? Port's had 13 final appearances this century with 9 of them in the top four and one season in the bottom two, they really should be more successful than what they are.
You support a flash in the pan team. Come back and flex in another 35 years when you may win one again, cellar dweller.25 years of Collingwood history has bought about 2 Premierships from 7 Grand Finals.
Meanwhile in the same period other clubs have won more than Collingwood's 2 Premierships. You must enjoy watching Collingwood lose Grand Finals by the sounds of it, after all you did say "I'm pretty comfortable in saying I've experienced a lot more joy watching and supporting Collingwood over the last 25 years"
Silly metric, a spoon doesn't take away a flag. Ask a saints, Carlton or bombers fan how many spoons they'd endure for 1 flag and see what they say. Us finishing 18th last season doesn't take away one of our flags.Using this weighted points system, this is how it comes out.

Considering they've won 3 premierships in the last 60 years, you might be waiting a while.Come back to me when your mob wins 3 Premierships in 4 years in the modern era.
No doubt they will soon find a way to weave Dusty into the discussion....Another Richmond craving validation thread. Goody
Think we are all staying on topic ranking success. Don't be mad at us because your club has not been as successful as the tigers this century, nor the last 60 years. No doubt they will soon find a way to weave Dusty into the discussion....
Going out on a limb there picking one of the top 4 plus the previous years grand finalist to make the 2026 decider.8 teams with no premiership, but only one with a winning record overall.
I can guarantee that Brisbane, Geelong, Sydney, Hawthorn or Collingwood are one of the Grand Final teams in 2026.
All teams apart from Gold Coast have made it to the Grand Final at least once (in their overall history).
Flags not weighted enough.
Would you rather make the GF twice for two losses or only once and win? This scale says they’re the same.
I would do at least 100 for a flag at least, then go down.
And really the only measure that matters is number of flags.
If you’re not first, you’re last.
