Cool story, but Hawks traded for Luke Hodge.

True, my bad - but even better - that again is pure (and good trading obviously) luck in many respects and obviously a brilliant pick at the draft table. But if anything it probably further highlights my point. What happens if Fremantle don’t decide to do that deal

It’s not ‘technically’ in the 20th century, but the year 2000 is the last year of the 20th century.
Australia was federated deliberately on January 1st 1901, because that was the first day of the 20th century.
January 1st 2001 is the first day of the 21st century.
Yeah, that was my point.

This is my view as well. A flag is amazing obviously but they’re hard to win and over 25 years you’re statistically not going to get much enjoyment if that is your only measurement of success.

Clubs like Geelong/Collingwood/Sydney/Hawthorn have been the most successful in my eyes.

Clubs like Brisbane/Richmond have had a lot of down time but have made the most of their up time.

That’s the Top 6 right there and you can raffle the rest.
Pretty sure Hawthorn and Brisbane have qualified for finals the same number of times since 2000

and who would you put above them genius? Port's had 13 final appearances this century with 9 of them in the top four and one season in the bottom two, they really should be more successful than what they are.
They also have the most minor premierships in this century tied with Geelong so they can win games

Flag- 75 points.
Runners up- 25 points.
Top 4- 20 points.
