I know ur just Joking Kane but....
I believe that the problem isn't Woosh, its his assistants and Developement staff.
Ive stated many times on prvious threads about who and why but the blame IMO doesn't stop with the Head coach on this 1.
We lost to brissy in a last QTR fade out = Fitness Coaches Failed.
We lost to Port in a Nail Biter due to Crap disposals = Developement.
We lost to North with another terrible disp and 4th qtr fadeout. = Both
We Beat Essendon with clean disposal and a strong 4th qtr. = Game Plan
We got Smashed by Sydney with terrible disposals again. = Developement
We got beaten by freo due to a 4th qtr fadeout again. = Fitness
We beat Hawks (just) because we followed the game plan. = Game plan.

So if we hadn't faded out against Brissy, Freo and to a lesser extent North we would have been 5 wins and 2 losses and 1 of those against Port could have easily been a win if we had been more composed even with that crap disposal display.
So woosh isn't the Problem IMO.:thumbsu:

I believe that the problem is to do with the coin toss, We are loosing them and it really affects our confidence and it put us to a disadvantage and the chemical analysis of the evaporation in this unique environment.

My knee-jerk'o'meter is starting to beep ever so slightly. Plenty of fans think we are going to beat St Kilda, after our wins over Hawthorn and the Dees.

Have we genuinely improved as a team or were we just playing lesser opposition? Or is it because the Saints are a lesser team without their captain?

Its the whole combination of the lot you would have to think marlin. Even though the saints are going to be away from home on a much larger ground without their best player whilst being down on confidence and with a few other outs.

We are still going to have to play very close to our best footy to beat them.

Yeah this.

I'm not sold on our improvements just yet but the Saints have played truly diabolical footy the last few weeks. I'm expecting a good contest.

All I believe.
We have improved our pressure, and that won the game for us v dees.
Our ball use was alot better in the 2nd half of the game when we started getting confidence in each other.
Playing lesser oposition well 2 weeks ago no body would have given us a chance to beat Melbourne at The G and we did so I wouldn't say they were lesser I would say they are about Par with us.
The Saints without Reiwoldt are Shiat. Fullstop :thumbsu:

Here we are. We never left.

We won two in a row, albeit ugly wins against average opposition. The Melbourne away game was a good win, but still against a young team everyone thought would finish bottom 2 this year.

Sack em all!

A LeCras with some touch and Stevenson/Houlihan/Nicoski* for Embley would of been the difference today.

*I understand two of them are injured...

He really needs to have a look at himself Embley, he is capable of so much more and the only one letting him down is himself. Doesnt matter how hard you work, (his workrate looked good on tv) bad skills is bad football.

Would Houlihan or nicoski been better today for us? Neither is well known for their accurate disposal either

Both of them currently have better disposal then Embley. Id rather see Nico in for Lynch though realistically, Nico is quicker, able to play defensively and is a better long kick into the forward line currently then Lynch.

Houlihan was fantastic late last year, and if fit would of been in the team IMO.

Besides, our depth sucks atm. Especially if you want to replace like for like.

Nicoski has saved his career playing half forward this year, he was rubbish last year coming out of the backline.

I would be happy to see him back in the team at half forward.
After seeing his disposal into the forward 50 against Port this year i'm still apprehensive whenever he gets the ball.

Fair enough, but i think he does less harm in the forward half than trying to kick from the back half. Can do the job on a good running defender to.

PS your avatar pic is awesome, but i think i will have an epilectic fit if i stare at it for much longer.

Hams is on the rookie list. You don't aim high do you?

Hams won't get elevated at seasons end at this rate. But at least he's not trying up a senior listing.
At least Nicoski has played some good football in his career. In 10 years time you will probably be at a party and someone will say 'Remember when Ash Hams played for West Coast'? and you will all have a bit of a laugh and a giggle.
